PayPal:

definately reinforces its policy against "the purchase or sale of, or receipt of donations for, any obscene or sexually oriented goods or services."

apparently in a adult site that was collecting money for Hurricane Katrina's survivors.

I might have been the last to know, but 'tis true and they do reinforce it. I cannot use PayPal to get paid for my rated PG-13 photos used at a sex-positive site with erotica and sexual information for women.

I have heard PayStone is a good alternative. Any suggestions?

Check ePassporte.com. It's a bit expensive if you choose the Visa Electron option, which is the only way to turn the virtual money into cash, but it's an effective and easy-to-use alternative.

I'd be interested if anyone can answer anna's question. I gave up selling stuff on the internet because I couldn't find any company willing to accommodate selling erotica and I just wasn't selling enough to have my own credit card facility.

Banks were happy enough to try to persuade me that they were the best for depositing the money in I earned from it though. Two faced bastards.

I've been with ebay and paypal for 6 years and the two companies are definitely connected. Almost everyone on ebay uses paypal. Ebay does have erotica. I've never heard of anyone not being able to use paypal on ebay due to what they bought. I did have one customer lose his paypal privileges because he used his paypal account to buy porn. This was two years ago. Have you heard of that save toby site? The "give me money via paypal or I kill and eat my bunny" site? Paypal closed that account. They don't like porn and freakin' bunny killers. I've used bidpay.com without any problems. I've used my paypal debit/credit card to buy dildos. I think you have more freedom with the card than if you just click on a paypal logo and pay with your account.

I've heard that some people continue to use PayPal to sell erotic stories or artwork like what Anna mentioned, doing the transaction under "undisclosed services" or something like that...

you know I have seen this photo on and off over the past almost two years? and I still cannot concentrate while that gun and ass are in my peripheral vision

okay someone said something about paying something? friends or...?

We purchase stuff all the time for the 'studio' and use visa-master card mostly but have a pay pal because of e-bay. My wife bought some kinky gifts with pay pal, but I truely don't know if it was explicit or iced over, I will have to ask her ...now that you say this. although we buy uniforms and equipment mostly. I haven't had a problem with them but then I haven't bought any thing 'erotic' that I know of. This is interesting, why would they not? censor-ship ... in america? how absurd <grin>
