Amazing race for Khalid Khannouchi, five guys within 70seconds of an already impressive world record. Evidently the conditions were harsh, 20mph winds and close to 40F. That elite front pack was very necessary, longterm I still have my money on Haile Gebrselassie he sat out this one. He is probably history's greatest distance runner. He can break 2:05 next time out.

Radcliffe, does train like a man and it shows. That and taking advantages of science and technological advances (she sleeps in a Hypoxic Tent System that allows her to breathe air with minimal amounts of oxygen). She has proven her durability, despite having a small to medium frame she regularly tallies weeks of 150miles. I wouldn't rule out 2:15.xx with better conditions.

Khalid averaged about 4:47 over 26.2 miles.

Paula averaged about 5:17 over 26.2 miles.
