The operative word is "disproportionately." And that conclusion is obtained by doing some number jiggling.

Here are the raw numbers.

What immediately pops out is that more whites are shot by police. The counter argument is, "Yeah, but blacks only represent 13% of the population!" therefore blacks are disproportionate 'victims.'

Here's the problem with that assertion. Blacks represent 54 (+/-)% of ALL felonies (FBI-UCR) whereas whites are in the 16% range. Based on the rate of commissions of crimes either far fewer whites should be shot by the police or far more blacks. It is axiomatic that the higher the rate of criminal activity the higher the likelihood of an encounter with the police.

So every time someone trots out the "more blacks" meme I know that I am dealing with someone that either hasn't fully researched the numbers or is purposely trying to obfuscate.

So many variables missing. The percentage of violent crime committed by Black males is proportionately higher than any other ethnic group. Like any study coming out of **WOKE** yale it's not worth the paper it's written on, the eastern version of UC Berkeley.
