Part of my story is missing.

I had a new story posted today, and the first several paragraphs are missing. It's all stuff to set up the story line.

Is there any way to get the missing paragraphs added back to the story? It's getting pretty good scores so far, but I feel it's incomplete.

That happened to me... I PMed Laurel and she said to submit an edited version, which I did, and she reposted it fixed.

I've had the same problem with losing paragraphs - usually at page breaks. I tinkered with it a long while and came to the conclusion that it usually happened where the formatting of the original had been changed (usually color-coded when I was editing) or where smartquotes had been placed, but could not weed out enough of it to totally eliminate the issue. As Carson said, however, they're pretty good about editing up fixes.
