Alrighty, time for me to put a personnal touch of evil, death, decay and other icky stuff on this board! =p

Ok, I have and am rading through many of your stories while groaning from their STIFFENES (not my dick's its long limp, the stories!) Yes, you ehard me gamers! I mean, c'mon

Example: ((OOC Charcater Description: ramble, ramble, ramble (for at least 3 paragraphs)))

((IC)) Helen walks into the bar and orders a glass of ale. She eys the room picking out the guards and the possible escape routes.

Erm....BIG WHOOP! Now since you are wondering what this is leading up to, I will say it. I think we should have a freer style of stores. Many of you are following D&D rules or ADD rules. Its alright, ut in this case we are not concerned with your char's weight, level, skill, spells e.t.c. (though if its relevant I am not criticizing that) Also people are so dam stiff and formal it makes me kinda sick... No sense of adventure or secrecy. No sense of erotica (if there is supposed to be any) or *gasp* fun. I am not PUSHING a revolution here, don't get me wrong, just suggestion we change this stuff. I will start a thread (tomorrow got to defend my orange belt ^.^ They are actually going to let me fight another contender (with pads and all, but still) free style any zjudo technique and all kicks too ^.^ Everyone hope my ass won;t get whooped, but I got a few comobs up my sleeve and hopefully (if all goes well( they'll be up his ass in the end! ^.^) about an erotic (or non, whatever) tomorrow. You'll see I'll explain my idea and we will )hopefully with your concesus) try it out!

Also, no offense, I appreacite XMen hentai and cartoons (erotic) but reading about storm sucking off a guy or licking pussy just turns my stomach...eaccchchh-ptoeey!

Kirrix,
Known to piss people off prematurely and regret that he has done so ^.^

Ooooo, thats the way to do it! Insult our writing styles! Way to go champ! You know... Cervantes could use a snack... ;) (Yes, that was a challenge, but I am sure thats exactly WHY you posted as you did, to rile people a little) No harm in that but don't be surprised when the sludge your using as bait fails to catch us flies as well as honey would...

Stiff... *Shaking head amused* Gee thanks!

Hmmm, yes, this should be very entertaining to say the least.

Lada Panya Caryn Maizie-Tabbi Jeri Tula Faught...

<Rolling eyes...>
OOC: I wanna play! I wanna play! Please, babe, let me play?!
;)
5' 1", long raven colored hair, deep olive green eyes, Impish face, small features, slim frame, 32A, full bush.

IC:
Young Lada Panya Caryn Maizie-Tabbi Jeri Tula Faught knelt alongside her Master. She remained quiet as ever, knowing that a proper girl waited to speak after she had been spoken to!

uhhhhm.....

In defense of backgrounds and descriptions, alot of us arent mind readers...and alot of us dont want someone just popping up and assuming something about our char. If we just write one liners then its our own fault when we get overlooked or stereotyped. I for one am a self professed "stiff writer" I am not very free flowing nor do I consider my self an easy read, but..I think Literotica is fun and good practice. Im curious to see how your attempt at rileing people up works. one thing I'll give you. you got attention.

*Leans on bar* Hey Buddy...Lemmie give ya a peice of advice....*Grabs collar, slams you against the wall* DONT INSULT THIS BOARD PAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF YA DO AGAIN, I'll MAKE SURE YER COMPY DONT LIVE TO SEE THE NEXT SUNRISE!!! *sets you down, grins evilly, and walks away, content that he has fully done his job*

Queen Casandra...

"Um, Roland, dear..." Casandra began, "Calm down there babe!" ;)

Free country right? Right.

He's free to insult us and make fun of the way we love to write our storys....

ANd we're free to ignore any attempts on posting a new story or being in a story he makes.

It's that simple.

Unless he apologizes.

everyone has an opnion, thats true, but when he Insults our writing, And therefore is insulting MY writing, my hardworked on charicters, my unforgettable charicters, and My Silly and sardonic Wit, Im Going to become pissed off.

Witch is how i am right now.

Apologize, and MEAN IT, and all is forgiven.

Have a nice Day. :)

I for one am morbidly curious what he considers an INTERESTING thread myself... HEheh! Hell, just to show good faith I would jump into one and see how it goes... I don't feel that he should be ousted from the board just cause he thinks we are "stiff" , hell maybe he WILL give us an interesting thread to play in. I wanna see what he has to offer before we crucify em! Sounds like thats what the last board he was at did...

Hmmmm... you know... I don't mind being told I write stiffly... but I DO mind being told the same from one who can't even spell correctly.

[raised brow in Kirrix's direction]

Still... now that you've thrown out the challange I do sincerely hope you can deliver. I do hate it when a person can't deliver... [grins]

Will be watching to see what eventuates...

Until then,

M.T.

EVIL GRIN

>COUGHNOONECARESCOUGH< um...Yeah, I just take personal insult to this, Well, the Storm comment, just sort of hit me. It may not of been my Storm, but regardless, This is called EROTIC fiction my friend, so, If my characters would like to say....stick their foot up your ass....or say....um....Unleash Roland on you....or say....give someone a damn good blowjob...WHO are you to decide what is good or not...VIRGIN....Our writing techniques may not be that of yours "MASSA" >bowing down and saying 'massa' like a slave<. In all of our stories, It is our duty to give a visual, some sort of stimulation to the mind. A way to express ourselves. A way to become something different than real life. So, say I want to have black hair, blue eyes, be ten feet tall. I am going to tell you, because a character's profile is as important to the story as the plot. I become interested in threads the more information about someone I know, Like say...my preference is men, tall, dark, and with blue eyes. Well then, a story with that sort of character, that story is some how fullfilling my fantasy. I find some things on these boards distasteful. Of course, we all will. But you don't come in here, as a virgin (GRIN...) and tell us our writing sucks. Um, hun, then don't read it. This is free speech, start your own thread, and pray the trolls don't flame you. I am giving you a chance, you just irked me. And next time you feel like critiqing our works, consider the fact that you made a few people angry. be tasteful, add suggestions. And by the way, I have to go give Cyclops a blow-job now. :)
Licks and kisses to my fellow boarders:
Lava Goddesss....

I have but one question. What is a comob and why is it up his sleeve?

Gamers?

I might be mistaken, and if so I apologize to all offended in advance, but as far as I can tell, most of the people posting here aren't gamers. They're writers. That's why there is so much description. Writers do that.

If you're looking for 'gaming' as opposed to collaborative writing RP, why not try a MUD or MUSH? If you don't know what they are: they're online RPGs that take place in real time, more or less. MUDs tend to be more 'kill monster get treasure' and MUSHes tend to be more of a creative writing effort with focus on actual plots, but still possessing a gaming aspect. There are many different kinds with many different themes. I think there are even a few that are specifically sexually themed.

Coming onto a board where people are obviously getting what they want out of it (given how many people are here) and telling them to change everything because you don't like it... Way to be self-centered, man. Instead of trying to move a mountain, why don't you just take a different path? Do a web search on MUD or MUSH, and maybe you'll find one to your tastes and let these nice folks get back to doing what they like to do.

Is that what Kirrix was talking about? D&D rules being used in a writing forum? I was wondering, but as I look up, I see it was. I hadn't read his post that carefully, and was a little confused on why he was saying what he was saying.
I really don't want to comment too much either way. Sometimes, even I can get a little annoyed with tons of descriptions and little detail, but most of the time it is essential. I can't very well comment on a beautiful woman's eyes if I don't know what the color is.
I have never played Dungeons and Dragons, well one time when I was 8, but that was only for 5 minutes, and I had no clue what I was doing, but thats not the point, the point is I have no idea what the D & D rules are, or how to follow them.
I have never myself posted a "stat" for my character, I would usually put them in an internal monologue simply stating the fact. I know, as a writer this is a bit redundant, but I like it this way.
I don't want to say this type of writing is bad, because, simply stated no type of writing is bad. I would hate to think anyone at Literotica would actually make a good judge of anyone elses writing. People who judge writing are editors, and publishers, not role playing writers at a role playing forum.
Maybe I am being a little one sided on this. We do have some great people out here playing alonside us. Ravenloft among one of the great I have seen. We have people with great ideas for stories, like Rose and Roland, we have some of the best description writers I have ever seen, like MoneyTalks, Renegade, and even Kepic. Of course, there's me... well actually I just showed up one day, I don't really count.
To bring this whole speech down to a close, there shouldn't be judgment on this thread where friends get together, on their own time to create stories of magic and wonder. We may do it differently, we may even step on other people's toes from time to time, but that doesn't mean anything. We have all come here to write, or game, I am still not sure which. We are here to play, to relax, to step out of our own stress filled worlds, and fight monsters, fall in love, and even do a little magic.
If we are writing wrong, then I for one would like to keep writing wrong. It's the best writing I have ever done in my life.
I have drawn this out too long already, but I will say one more thing. All my life, I have wanted to be a part of an inteligent, creative, funny group of people who would be warm and friendly, and always made everyone feel welcome. It took me a while, but here I am.

Manners?????Ha!

Hey!
Well....I must say that everytime I sit down and write anything! I think to myself...BOY is this stiff and poor!..LOL
But, I do continue and really enjoy silly, nasty postings that tell me what I allready know!..HAHA
She Continues to write even though they laugh and point!

Oh, And by the by....The closest to any sorta actual manners your gonna get is the queens grandson!...LOL

Be Well
Be Nice
If Ya Can't...Oh Well!
RNAB

I am such a twit!....Someone should move the ..new thread & post a reply farthur apart!
Squeezing my eyes shut, I ask.."Are they still Pointing at me!?"...LOL

re: Manners

I really don't understand why people get their knickers in such a twist.

And I have to giggle when people make generalized comments throwing all posters on the board into one barrel.

Specifically when I'm told that..

1) All posters write stiffly
2) All posters attacked poor Kirrix
3) All posters must be D&D layabouts
4) Manners are non-existent on this board

I don't believe I "attacked" Kirrix per say, but then again people all read things differently. I just wonder when the person telling us 'all' off for attacking someone is in fact showing us the same sort of attitude he/she is accussing the rest of us of.

Or is that way too deep?

I just want to say, as far as I'm concerned, Kirrix is entitled to have his say. I must add however, that even I was surprised by the reactions he got. Still bearing all this in mind, anyone who can incite that kind of reaction can more than stick up for himself.

Kirrix... good luck with your new thread!

I wasn't trying to attack Kirrix, being as I don't even know this person. I just thought he might have more fun on a MUD or MUSH after reading his opinion of what good gaming was. I'm an avid MUSHer - it's a style of roleplay that I prefer. If I was attacking Kirrix, why would I be inviting him into my own medium of choice?

As for everyone else - I can't speak for them. However, if a new person wants to be accepted as part of the group, he shouldn't introduce himself by insulting everyone else in the group. Enthusiasm is no excuse for poor manners.

I hope Kirrix's thread does well. I read the RP boards off and on, but I'm still better at MUSH, so that's where I do most of my RP. It doesn't mean I think these boards suck. People can have different interests without it becoming a flame war, you know.

PS. I'm a woman with intelligence, but given the name, it's a common mistake. ;)

naudiz

I love your post script!

Is that something you wrote yourself? Or a quote?

Just curious!

[grins]

Pyrolisk

Hey there... 'twas all in good faith on all sides I'm sure. I have to admit... it was quite exciting having everyone so riled up like that! [smiles].

I agree with you. I'm sure there were valid points made and no one should be crucified for having an opinion.

Can I give you a hug and make it all better now?

[slips in a hug]

I'm glad you're not a beast ALL the time... I know how it is when you're tired.

It's from a song by Ani Difranco called "The Million You Never Made" off her "Not a Pretty Girl" CD. Ani's got some great lyrics. :) Another one of my favorites is: "Tell me who is your boogie man? That's who I will be. You don't have to like me for who I am, but we'll see what you're made of by what you make of me."

naudiz...

so excellent... I have to check out that album... I agree... that other quote ROCKS as well... [grins]

Thanks for that... [smiles]

naudiz...

by the way... how did you come about your name may I ask?... since you were kind enough to answer my other question... [grins]

Well, I read too much. :)

I picked the name from an Old English poem that goes:

Naudiz (Need)

Nyd oppresses the heart;
yet nonetheless often it
is transformed for the sons of men
to a source of help and salvation,
if only they heed it in time.

Naudiz is the name of a Nordic rune signifying need, strife, and obstacles. I chose it kind of tongue-in-cheek because it sounds a little like "naughties" and also because I can be a real pain in the backside when I get stubborn. ;)
