It's just getting started, but the 2nd thread gives no less than 50 possibilities (actually more, since many of them are not explicitally stated, so you can make them up), all of them interesting. I have begun putting in a breakdown so we don't get locked out by the stupid 4 thread maximum, but I can't get the trick that lets you override the limit to work. Could someone who knows how to put in more than 4 threads finish the breakdown, and get this party started?

Interesting. I imagine there might be several stories that would sort of fit into this mold already.

For example: Living Like Bonobos would cover Social Hierarchy: Matriarchal Tribe and No Taboos Against: Public Sex, Group Sex, Same-Gender Sex and something like Social Cohesion: Sexual Acts.

Do you have any sense around how to mix these? Or do you want a particular dominant theme?

    • Holidays include a preferred, symbolic devotional sexual activity which may be performed as a public ritual.
    • Political candidates and parties try to bribe voters with publicly funded sexual favors/favoritism.

Just advertising

I haven't made any contribution to the story yet, beside the breakdown, because I didn't want to cut anyone off. If someone could finish the breakdown, (and once everybody gets approved), then I would feel comfortable adding. I am merely advertising what I think will be a great story, and trying to get interest and technical expertise.

Vortel appears to still be around. He showed up just long enough to reject all of my faulty attempts to add more than 4 threads to the second level before vanishing. That said, if he doesn't want it, I'll take it over.

That still doesn't solve the immediate problem, though. Someone, please finish my breakdown! I can't figure out how to get more than 4 threads to work! Any time I try, they all end up on the first page.

The story is small enough that you could easily start your own version. The editor hasn't approved any of your threads yet, so it's not as if there's much to lose. And if you're editor, it will develop as fast as you want.

I don't want to split attention

I don't want to go around creating my own versions of stories and cluttering up the site. If I did, then there would be alternate versions of Absolute power and several others by now, and all of them would be less developed than if there were only one story of that type. I think it is better to go your own way inside a story and open up new possibilities for exploitation than to divide effort by having 50 stories on the same premise.

I would rather try to add on to other stories until I feel confident in making one of my own. Given that I have Zero children for any of my threads at this point, I am not there yet. That being said, if nothing happens, I may try it with this one, although I would feel a little weird having my first story be a retread of someone else's idea.

I continue to sue for a removal of the four thread limit. It makes it hard for us to be creative, since only 4 of us can be at a time.

As to there not being much, looks like Musher is going for broke.
