In the airport Burger King

Murdock looked upon the people that had joined him at his table. He slid down his sunglasses to inspect them all, looked around to the other tables, and opened his mouth to speak. "You will follow me to the plane. Say not a word until we are safely in the air. Let's go."

Murdock led them through the airport, and after being cleared by security, they headed for the gates, and then boarded the airplane. It looked like a regular aircraft, only it was empty apart from them. Murdock closed the door, and instructed them to take seats and fasten their safety belts. Once the plane was airborne twenty minutes later, high above the East Coast, Murdock addressed them again.

"Okay, now we can introduce ourselves. As you know, I am Murdock. I will not disclose my full name, however. All know me only as Murdock. Please, introduce yourselves, and feel free to mingle for the rest of the flight. Since you'll be working together, you might want to state what skills got you here in the first place."

The first to speak up was a young, well built man with short black hair and deep hazel eyes. He was fairly tall, and his skin had a slightly tanned tone to it, and his facial features were clearly of Asian descent, yet he had no such accent. "I am Lieutenant Jin Kuzara, US Navy SEALs. I am twenty-nine years old, and have been asked to join this team because of my extensive military training. I graduated Valedictorian from Annapolis Naval Academy, and prior to that, due to my grandfather having taught martial arts in Japan before he and my infant father relocated to America, was was also able to teach me. I have mastered both Karate and Ninjutsu, and have also had advanced combat training using special weapons. I do not know what this assingment entails, but my superiors seem to know about it, and deemed me the best choice for the position, so here I am..."

After a moment, he sighed and then chuckled. "Sorry, I tend to ramble on."

Daniel looked about on the plane gazing intently out the window. he'd paid no attention to this Murdoch so far though he rememebred every detail of his breifing and the military man's name and training. It looked like he was a career soldier, odd for him to be requested aboard. The clouds made such interesting patterns to Daniel, all the different formations in the break were truly fascinating to watch.

"No need to apologise Left tenant." Daniel always said that word that way he never really knew way. His eyes still staring out the plane window. "I think that we're all strangers here, all I recieved at my desk at NASA was an envelope with a plane ticket, a leter of resination, and an orders transfer from the government."

Daniel looked at the rest of the group his mind already looking for a pattern as to why any of them were there. "Umm since we're being so forward in serice I guess I have two doctroates and I had a great job decoding satellite signals. I like numbers and music, virtually everything has an identifiable pattern and that's what I do, I read it."

"I like music too!" I chirped, once Daniel finished. A short silence ensued, as heads turned towards me. I stood from my seat, and even gave a little cheery wave. It seemed to suit my blonde wig and my spaghetti strap - mini skirt outfit.

"Well I bake really good cookies, and I'm a cheerleader!"

I scanned everyone's eyes, and saw horror and disbelief. Except for Murdock, of course. He was well aware of my achievements, and capabilities. I deliberately let things settled in, and I was sure some of them were even half-expecting a cheerleading routine to follow with my introduction.

In a flash though, I pulled on a long trench-coat, ditched the wig and pulled on a pair of reading glasses.

"Well, I used to be, anyway. Things changed after my Economics degree in Chicago, and then a double Phd at Stanford in both Social Psychology and Political Science. Now, I solve problems for my clients, and that keeps them happy. And it doesn't matter how big the problem is, or what kind of solution it may require. I get it done, and I get results."

I arched my eyebrows, as I scanned the company for a second time. Then I smiled - I didn't think they would have any questions.

"Oh and by the way, I do still bake good cookies." I added, before taking my seat.

Delynda was super-glad the cheerleader thing had been a ploy, well, mostly a ploy anyway. At any rate, it seemed the girl had pulled herself together and that whatever this project was it wouldn't be forcing her to work with a ditz of a partner. She sighed, and stood, deciding that it must be her turn. The tallish brunette cleared her throat, and waited until her fellow passengers locked their eyes with her own inspecing hazel glance.

"I'm Delynda. I find it interesting of your musical interests, as that is my profession. I'm a doctor of music and the physics of sound." She peered now at the girl, who'd forgotten to give her name. "And I, too, have a degree in psychology. My specialty is the science of women - what they think, and why, and why it is natural for them to do the things they do as a result of their thoughts." She looked away from the girl, and back to the two men in the room. "As well as sexuality."
Letting that hang in the air a moment. She'd worn a form-fitting pants suit made of velvet. Dark purple in color, the pants themselves clung to her every curve, revealing her womanliness without forsaking modesty. The low-cut v-neck top buttoned with only three buttons, and again hugged her curves with as much modesty as possible. Her generous breasts were well-covered, yet the peek at the top would make any man quiver with excitement. She let the room take in her c-cups before once again clearing her throat to speak.

"At any rate, I just found it interesting that we all seem to have an interest in music, and the two of us women are also psychologists." She smiled sweetly, as if she'd not had an impact on the room. She was used to being ogled, used to having an air of importance, as she spoke at many lectures for both women and musicians. Delynda was careful to keep herself covered, she treasured her modesty, and yet her lonely secrets would have to come out at some point....

Sitting a few seats down from everyone a tall man in a white doctors outfit, with blond hair and thick glasses, quietly read a small red book with no visible title on the cover of it.

http://www.geocities.com/crazyjw18/nanako/Ogami.JPG

Hearing the other passengers stand up one by one and introduce themselves the man couldn't help but to look up with curiosity as they listed their occupations and reason for being there, as well as some of their favorite hobbies.

The mans face would falter as the women with fake looking hair stood up and gave a little act as a cheerleader and then later revealed herself to be a social psychologist."Go figure" he thought, psychologist always struck him as odd and perhaps a little more crazy then the patients they treated.

As the first girl sat back down and the second girl stood up he was surprised to hear that she also was a psychologist of a sorts with an odd occupation of dealing with sound.

"Whatever" he thought as he closed the book with a heavy clap to get everyone's attention and stood up. He was a skinny type of man but appeared healthy and well kept, with combed hair and neatly shaved chin.
Knowing that it was now his turn now and he would have to speak sooner or later anyway and wanted to get it out of the way, he cleared his throat.

"My name is Dr. Draken..and I'm a genetic engineer with a masters in medical science and a bachelors degree in bioengineering....I was born in the U.S and worked for the government for...let's just say classified reasons that involve specially designed weapons that the Lieutenant over there most likely had the chance to try out and use on people.

Draken paused for a moment frowning at that statement and then continued.

"In any case that all ended abruptly when they reassigned me to this..place without giving any reason as to why. Nor did they give me an option either and believe me..I tried."

Draken then looked over to the two ladies of the ship and spoke with a stoic expression and low voice.

"As for music I don't care for it, as such things are trivial in my opinion. No offence to anyone of course."

With that said Draken was finished, he had introduced himself as requested and he felt that he was done for now until he could get some real answers as to why he was out here.

It seemed that everyone had introduced themselves. A fair crowd. Daniel shrugged, work was work he'd really only accepted this post because it seemed interesting.

"So no one knows why we're all here? Isn't that fascinating. One would think that the cryptologist on the squad would look at all the pieces and put them together but I must say i'm kind of stumped. So Leftenat?" Daniel turned in a sudden and easy movement far quicker than anyone would expect and sort of shuffled himself over to speak. Easy grin in place he asked the young officer.

"So where are we going? can we at least know that?"

Jin looked at the man as he addressed him. "I'm afraid I don't know any more than all of you. All they told me was that this is a top secret project and that I would be briefed upon arrival to the facility."

"Well wherever we're going.."

Draken said as he piped in again.

"It's certinlly not going to be any place close to home."

He motioned his head towards the window of the plane were everyone (who looked) would be able to see that they were now flying over the atlantic ocean moving further and further away from the eastcoast.

"I wonder if we'll even have the luxury of being able to choose wheather or not to return home."
Draken grumbled to himself now looking off to the side.

Delynda's eyes met with Daniel's as she rolled them towards the high-and-mighty doctor. He struck her as mysterious, and cocky, and she wasn't quite certain yet if she liked him. He was intriguing enough, though, that she made a mental note to find out that very information later.

In the meantime, Daniel seemed easygoing enough. The Lieutenant had been of no help in determining the purpose and fate of this journey, and it seemed that the group was destined to travel in the proverbial dark for a while longer. Delynda sighed and sank down into her chair, tossing her head back and closing her eyes for a moment. Suddenly, it struck her that she could pee. So she got up and went to the restroom, tired of the awkwardness of the room anyway.

Draken watched as one of the tall females,...Delynda's he belived her name was, stand up and make her way towards the back of the airplane. She was certinlly attractive to say the least wearing those tightly fitted cloths that showed off her womenly figure without revealing too much yet leaving little to the imagination.
Drake recalled her explaining eariler that she was also a psycologist in the study of women science, which would explain to him a few things about her choice of clothing. Delynda certinlly knew her feild of women sexuality, and was apprently useing that knowledge to it's fullist attracting both the eyes of male and possibly females alike.

Draken and the others were professions however in their feilds of expertise and such things (or at least Draken hoped so) wouldn't effect them so easily. None the less everyone was human, and such disires had it's way of breaking through even the strongist of wills.

"Hey while your up..." Draken said as Delynda passed him and his emeraled eyes came to meet her hazel ones.

"See if there's anyway you can get these people here to bring food out to us. I have a feeling this flight is going to last a good while."

I scanned the company on the plane once more. It was a pleasant mix of characters, and I was curiously interested at what might be in store for us once we arrived.

But I never quite liked long journeys on planes. I needed some excuse to get my legs stretched. I got up, and came across the first two persons closest to me.

"Mr Kuzara, I'm wondering if you would like to put a long-standing debate to rest right here on this plane - that is whether Aikido or Karate / Ninjutsu is more effective as a practical martial arts." I said matter-of-factly, before turning to Daniel.

"As I am sure a man of science like you will like to observe, the wonderful art of martial arts, wouldn't you?"

I extended my invitations, even if I was not going to take no for an answer.

Almost disinterestedly daniel responded his head barely swiveling to look at the person he was talking to. Absorbed in the clouds before he turned to see the second woman.

"Oh absolutely, the forms on paper are quite intriguing. I've always liked the flow of limbs and the proportion and placement of limbs. The angles are quite an interesting feat of human engineering."

Daniel was almost animated now his hands were demonstrating simple movements and angels none of them from anything really but they all belonged in proper math.

"Am I scoring? Ah I'm woefully equipped to battle with such a fearsome man. In fact the very thought scares me somewhat."

He shivered. "But I'd be happy to watch."

"Well," said Jin after a moment. "I prefer Karate and Ninjutsu to Aikido because in my line of work, lethal force is often required. Aikido emphasizes joining with an attack and redirecting the attacker's energy, as opposed to meeting force with force, and consists primarily of body throws and joint-locking techniques. A great art for one who seeks to refrain from injuring his enemies, but a poor choice for a Navy SEAL."

I stood and acted like I was pondering for a moment. I wasn't going to take no for an answer.

"So I take it that you're worried about...hurting me? Or are you afraid of getting hurt?" I chided.

"Doozoo, Yoroshiku Onegai Shimasu." I put a hand out and bowed slightly, before walking in the direction towards the back of the plane. I was told that there were state-of-the-art facilities. All I needed was a decent-sized dojo.

PS: roughly translated to mean "if you will please, thank you in advance."

OOC: Onegaishimasu does indeed mean please, but thank you is arigatou. Domo arigatou is thank you very much. Though, to someone who is not close family or friend, she should say "Arigatou gozaimasu," which means a more formal thank you. The Japanese are all about honor and respect. Also, you guys aren't being veyr much help on deciding a plot, lol. I can;t seem to think of anything after all, my creative juices are being sapped by my other games and by my current writing project (the first story in a series of novels).

OOC: I'll check back again to see if there's any movement here...

Jin sighed. "Very well, I will come quietly." He was reminded of an old Bruce Lee movie where a man kept pestering Lee to fight him. They had been on a boat, and Lee had told him they would take one of the rafts to a nearby island, fight there where they had more room, and then head back to the boat. But when the man got into the raft, Lee had released it and set the man off to the island alone, and very angry. He had called it the art of not fighting, or something like that. Deciding that he could not do the same thing in his situation since they were in a plane, he decided to take her offer. He would not hurt her, of course, but he would not be beaten either.
