As a young adult lad in my early 20s I wrote a fan letter (yes, on paper, through the post) to a favorite author - a lady in her early 40s. I was pleased that she replied so I wrote back. And we sustained a correspondence for about 5 years until I married. During that time we opened up slowly but steadily about personal matters and then erotic ones.

In the final months I was shopping for her lingerie and mailing her my selections. She would pose in them, take Polaroids and mail them to me for my masturbatory pleasure and occasionally mail me worn panties with her scent. She would describe what she wore for her husband and for her secret lover - neither of whom knew she had a personal shopper for her hot sex wear. She loved it. As did I. I miss it.

Seeking an open and appreciative lady to explore such an exchange. But free panties don't grow on trees. So we'll need written chemistry and to figure out some assurance that you aren't one of many men who'll be trying to angle this. An anonymous delivery boxes as well. But this could be fun. Are you a woman willing to explore? Married and mature preferred but any age or situation considered.

Gotta admit, this is a cool story.

I am still conducting interviews from interested parties. Please apply through pm.

A few fun responses thus far but no penpal as of yet. Curious women still have a chance!

That's pretty awesome, and something I don't think many people do anymore. It brought back memories of growing up, I had a couple of pen pals, one in western Canada and the other in England. I corresponded with both for a few years (all before the internet) via written letter. Once I got to college I got too busy to keep up the correspondence and lost track of both, and that was my loss. Nothing beats a written letter.

I have to agree with you, Mrs_Gray, nothing beats a written letter. Sadly, it does seem to be a dying hobby, outside of a few real enthusiasts. That some adults today cannot read cursive writing, have never received a personal letter or even know where to buy a stamp, well, that says it all.

I fear that following generations won't know the joy of finding an envelope in the mailbox enclosing a letter from someone far, far away. Reading and re-reading a letter, seeing where they may have smudged the paper with some ink or cross out a misspelled word. Written letters are such a personal thing.

While I do chat via email with a variety of people, people I may have never been able to converse with otherwise, it's just not the same, and I'm sure it's due to the generation that I grew up in, and I make no apologies for it.

Thank you Mrs. Gray. I obviously share your fond memories of hand written letters. Alas, you have no pm option for me to intice you into a postal affair. Too bad - I like your lit posts.

Exactly. It isn't just a message, but the conveyance that can add so much to the experience. Knowing you've a message from someone you like in your hands, which can be opened right there or saved for later. Opening it in private at the end of the day, taking out the pages, maybe catching their scent, seeing those personal influences like, as you say, smudges, crossed out words, it makes it incredibly personal and intimate.

It may not be just due to the generation difference, as there are those few hardcore enthusiasts to the older ways that treasure the experience. Many of them younger than us. Still, just a few against the tide. The younger ones will never miss what they never had, the same as anyone else I suppose.

When I was in college I have a lovely erotic correspondence with a British woman who, alas , I never did meet. We chatted online but the letters were still something special

Well this kilt wearing Celt hopes you turn on your messages at some time. Would love to see if I could make you smile a bit or perhaps more.......hope to hear from you......might be to old but if you don't get back with me......ah well c'est la vie

Never Perfect

The idea is appealing but as a long time consumer (and for the most part lover) of lingerie its the details that daunt me.

Even with a good/quality store/designer, a 34C bra might often be a perfect fit then one day a 38C bra is somehow too small. The bikini panties might be perfect 90% of the time then one day the satin is too tight or too loose on the latest style.

I’d hate to have a good man go through the trouble of sending me lovely lingerie only to have my eager hopes of a sexy photo shoot dashed by ill fitting or non flattering under garments, there’s just so often that weird fit you can’t predict.

Or maybe I’m just an obsessive perfectionist. 😂

Maybe just some small pasties...?
