Some employee throws down a bag of chips in anger.
Her boss responds by throwing her down a flight of stairs.
She comes back looking to avenge herself and slaps him.
He pounds her TWICE in response.

Okay, now the way it sounds might not have been the way it actually went. It sure would be nice if we had some actual DUE PROCESS here and it came out what really happened. Due process means some kind of prosecution.

Which is part of the issue in something so blatant.

In RI the police/courts can file a restraining order in a domestic abuse case without the victim's approval.

Its basically saving them from themselves and also CYA because the courts/police became tired of being dragged through the mud when women would keep letting the guys violate the order and take them back just to get beat again.

Law enforcement just nailed a football player to the wall for hitting a woman IN RETALIATION for her kneeing him and hitting him - all after raising her fist at him without provocation. The district attorney behind that misandrist bullshit just got busted for doing the exact OPPOSITE recently - letting some brute get away with some crazy shit. So now he's overcompensating.

Basically, this is a civil court dream for the girl. Given it is on video and that Panera has already fired the manager, any half decent lawyer will get a fat settlement for her against Panera. There is no way Panera wants this to go to trial, publicity wise.
