Pain puts things in perspective...

I have to get one one of my wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow, for the last 2 days I have had knife stabbing pain shooting up from my neck to my temple that has made life a living hell. At times I thought of pulling out the damn thing with a pair of plyers..just got some codiene from a good friend, whom I now owe my life now....but any way...Now comfortable numb, I just realize how precious life is and my heart goes out to all who are really sick...but it has made feel like I have a second chance at life again ( actually its my foutrth from other bad experiences I care not to mention) but I really want to start living life better...I know it sounds trivial but anyone else had similiar experiences?

If you feel this way from a wisdom tooth, I hope to hell you never have to face real pain. I am not being sarcastic, I am serious.

In the larger scope of things, wisdom teeth hurting and getting pulled ain't shit.

I have fractured my skull, broke hands, ribs, fingers, toes, my nose about 6 times, torn my knee out, dislocated my sholders several times, have been stabbed, hit in the head with a baseball bat, two car accidents, one motorcycle accident, more bar fights than I can remember and have got cortisone shots directly into my joints and the wisedom tooth was the worse of all of them......like a knife from my neck to the center of my head every second or so......I don't know why it hurt so much but it did.

I can relate. I feel the same way about cramping during PMS.

Only my thoughts are usually along the lines of, "Please let me die!"

So, anyways, yeah.
