I can not remember. About how many pages of regular 12 pt type pages in MS Word fill one page of Liteotica?

There's no standard MS Word page--too many variables; margins, fonts, etc. Do it by wordage. Mine break consistently at 3,750 words.

Roughly 6 Word pages to one Lit page. Lit pages are actually set by characters. How many I don't actually know but several around here who do know will probably be along to tell you.

It also depends on the line count. If you have a lot of dialogue, you'll probably break sooner.

It usually works out to about 3900 words per Lit page for me. Plus or minus according to your style (paragraph length, amount of dialog, using lots of big words, etc.).

Do not think in terms of Word when you write for LIT. What you see on your screen (using almost any editor) is not what it will look like when published.

IMHO the only way to get a decent preview is to 1) keep track of the word count and 2) hit the Preview button on a pasted-text submission. I may pre-submit an unfinished piece a number of times to make sure I haven't left <i> or <b> tags open. And I may add or subtract words so I'm not near a 3700-word LIT page cutoff -- 10k words ensures a 3-LIT-page story unless it's all short dialogue. And if it is, the Preview should warn me.

Preview isn't perfect but I have other worries so I don't sweat it.
