PAGANS-- assistance is needed herein

I really don't know where else to go for answers. I knew there are certain people here who can help me. Feel free to email me if you wish not to respond on the board.

I held conversation with a "Warlock" recently, who told me he held a key. He told me there were 8 spirits of Francis and that the 7th one was the guardian of the gate. He said he was familiar with this spirit but that it was the 8th spirit that he struggled with, and he knew not why.

He said that I have an aura about me, but refused to explain it to me. He said I had to be ready and willing to accept the knowledge before it could be received.

He asked for my assistance in finding out about the 8th spirit of Francis.

do any of you have any ideal what he is talking about?

I'm not a pagan either, but this sounds more like something a card-carrying dirty old man can help you with rather than something for a pagan to answer.

The jerk was trying to pick you up and hiding it behind mystical bullshit.

I really doubt that a warlock would go into such detail before he knew more about you, aura or not. If he was on the level, I'd really expect him to quiz you about your feelings about paganism first, then ease you into the religion before trying to get you involved in some search for a guardian of a gate.

As a witch, I feel fully confident in suggesting that anyone who called themselves a "warlock" wasn't actually a pagan. Now, admittedly, I'm a Wiccan. But, I have also studied Noetic, Norse, and Celtic/Druidic pagan paths, and none of what I've read and heard has used the term. A witch is a witch, whether a dick or a bitch--there isn't a masculine counterpart. That's a Hollywood thing, maybe a fear of using an androgynous (but connotatively female) term to refer to men?

well the 'pick-up' theory is not a possibility. and he never claimed to be Pagan.... I just knew there where some of you here and thought maybe you could point me in the right direction.

Actually, he approached me about 6months ago, he said "You are good at hiding what you are to others but I know".. I just laughed him off and told him he didn't know half of what he thought he did.


he told me since then he had been avoiding me but over the past couple of weeks our paths have been forced to cross even when he went to extremes to make sure they didn't.

he said he still didn't feel comfortable talking to me but that it was what had to be done....

i'm thinkin this guy is seriously short of a full deck or he really believes in what he is saying

i found some stuff on the web last nite about the 'eight spirits'... most fits into egyptian mythology.. dealing with the Denderah stone
