anyone out there ever been curious about how sex relates to some religions? In my current choice of study, tho I am just a humble beginner, I have found that there is magick called "sex magick". It is said to have some astounding effects. I have found some books that explain the concept and even show the best positions for achieving the magick and gaining/giving off the most energy. what do ya'll think? Anyone out there know anything about it?

thanks for the positive vote. I am currently studying the goddess and hope to learn more...i got my first tarot deck the other day. my younger sis is studying too. i think i'm going to enjoy it and it seems to be a place/subject for me to finally fit in. so many aspects of my life through the past years makes a bit more sense...aspects such as things i like and stuff that tends to catch my eye. Any kind of strong emotions release energy, regardless of what the stem from be it anger, lust, love, or sadness. The emotions which release those energies will influence whatever you tap them for. For example it's not a good idea to use anger to persorm any positive workings. As for sex-related magic, couldn't tell you as I'm still a virgin, but from what I've read those energies are very powerful as they come both from physical and mental lust. They're supposedly very good for self-oriented spells. Hope I could help.

Try reading up on Tantric Sex. It's not *pagan* but the techniques are designed to get to know and understand your partner's wants and needs better. You learn and grow spiritually with your partner as well all of which are essential before even attempting to engage in any form of *Sex Magick*

any suggested spells or spell books? I too love the art of spells and spell casting.....but the question is any success stories out there?

I have some pretty fucked up stories of spells I've tried early on before I knew what the hell I was doing. All I have to say in the matter is you better damn well know what you're doing before you start messing with spellwork, and KARMA IS A BITCH. (Not the person hehe)



Give me a few days to unpack, then I'll post a list of books. Starting with the basics you should know before you even think of attempting spellwork. Unless you already have that experience.

Seriously, when I first became in tune with the Goddess, the man that showed me my path had been a practicing priest for some time. I expressed an interest in Sex Magick, and he showed me his version of it.
While I have never had such powerful Sex Magick since, I think a lot of that had to do with the energy within him, and the fact that he could harness it a lot better than I. I have found it most effective to begin with sensual massages while concentrating on energy buildup and what you would like to do with it.
