At Alki beach on their way to the Nisqually for the culmination of the annual paddle journey.
If you can imagine, the Makah tribe use to go after whales in one of these dugout canoes. I can't even imagine being tied to a harpoon stuck in a devil fish (the Klallam name for the Gray Whale) in one of these.
