~The sound of a large truck pulling up outside woke him from his slumber. He groaned and then rolled over and looked at the clock. Nine thirty five in the morning? must be the garbage man he thought as he rolled over and tried to pull the coveres over his head. As soon as he started drifting off moments later, a knock came to the door. At first he wondered if he was hearing things, then the knock came again. With another groan he jumped up outta bed, grabbed his glasses and put them on, then grabbed his robe and pulled it over him.~
I'm coming, Im coming.
~He got to the door of his ranch home and opened it. Outside was a FedEx driver with a rather large box on a dolly waiting for him.~
Chance Larenzo?
Yeah, that's me...
Ive got a package here for you, where should I put it?
~He looked at the size of the package and pointed into the living room~
Anywhere in there will be fine.
~Chance moved out of the way and allowed the delivery guy to do his job. He half wondered what was in the box, then wondered who would be sending him anything. After he signed for the package, he walked the delivery man out and closed the door. He walked back into the living room and looked over the package. Hmmm, something is inside that has to breath or why else would their be holes in it. Unless of course FedEx doesnt take care of their packages anymore.
It was then that he noticed the card taped onto the box, pulled it off and opened it.~
Dear Chance, After visiting you last month, your father and I figured that you could use someone around the house who could help you with the household chores. Face it sweety, you live like a pig. Anyway, I was looking on the internet and found a website that offered a thing called a Cat-Girl who would be like a live in maid or something like that. You know how I am with the internet so I asked your cousin Kurt to help find you one. Hope you like her and that she is a big help to you. I know how much you are on the road and it will be good to have someone looking after you while you are out...
~He crumbled up the novel and threw it aside. Have to love the woman no matter how much she annoys me. She only wants the best for me. He looked over the box once more then started to pull the plastic bindings from it followed by the stapled cardboard. Once the box was opened he was taken back by what he saw inside.~
