P.O.V. Special: Two Towns of Jasper

Very cool - that documentary was getting some publicity at the SXSW film festival last spring. Really wanted to see it, but not $300 wanted to see it.

I remember the event clearly, as brutal a killing as I can imagine.

sorry...the title brought me back to the book 'The Santaroga Barrier'...strange hypnotic town...one you dont want to visit...

I would think that a lot of people wouldn't want to visit the town that this documentary takes place in either.
 
This documentary was well made. Anyone that is interested in race relations in America should check it out. I know it comes on again here at Midnight.

T'was swell. Easily worth seeing...

...though not nearly as riveting as American Idol.
 
I wonder if anyone else reading this has a divided cemetary in their town.

I've never really understood dividing the dead but the living are SO fucking stupid to think it matters.
