I think those parents need to be educated on better eating and portions for their kids. when you have a 400lb 13yr old, well then you stop feeding them fast food and crap. My son is about 6ft and weighs probably about 250. Yes he is over weight and can stand to lose 20 to 30 lbs. However I don't let my kids have free range on the kitchen. They have Breakfast, lunch, snack then dinner. Yes we some times have dessert. I try to limit their junk food intake. They hardly ever get soda, mostly water or milk.

Basicly what I am trying to say is parents need to stop shoving fast foods in their kids faces. I fear for my kids health as they grow up, so I want to make sure they get good food.

So there are cases where a child would be better off away from the house. I watched that show " Half Ton kids" it was sad.

The picture was cute though, of the giant toddler.

That is true and if child refuses to eat then she or he is not hungry.

It is useless to try to give food if one is not hungry.
