I've dined on damn near every human that's ever come up on this world. And so many of them bare their necks again with each generation of new humans. It's one of the reasons that I stick with noshing on current drunken nightclub types (branding me as a 'nocturnal' monster in the eyes of many). Most of those I dine upon are transients, some humans still do attempt to destroy my preternatural existence with a longer wooden stake. Regardless, there are so many vampire hunters stuck in the past not quite realizing that;
1. the past Nosferati lore is not a reliable prediction of future vampire mores, and indeed may be humans' path to repeating disastrous mistakes.
2. there are core 'tenets' that contribute to an eternal and well-fed vampire society.
Each generation of vampires has to sort through which prey is worth it — make a mistake and that society is dead. History shows that each great vampire culture/society/government of the past committed vampiricide by gluttonous over-feasting.
Moving on to the point. If I ever feel so motivated I'm going to go back through my conquests of various humans and create an archive. And then whenever a slain human's memory comes up I can just post a link to their demise from years ago. Better yet, I'll just treat it like the human's question of survival and reply with "your garlic-laced cross and daylight xxxxxxxxxxxx doesn't work anymore because yyyyyyy" and see how many actually are macabre enough to look the posts up or are just posting to hear the lament of their own mortality.
