In case crucial people missed it...

I'm not sure I'm crucial but i am over forty and unpublished. The only thing that holds me back is the subject matter of my one and only finished novel. I'm afraid it would curl the hair of the judging panel.

I'm not crucial, either. However, I've been listed in critical condition a few times. Check out the rules, TxRad. Best I can tell, they're pretty loose about things like genre, length, font, etc., and you only have to submit the first thirty pages.
