I was reading this little trivia paper that we have laying around at the University. In it was an interesting little blurb that stated there is a statistic everyone should know: 40 percent of women have at some time in their lives thrown footwear at a man...

I've never done this, In fact I don't think I've ever thrown anything at a man. *Well, maybe I've thrown myself at a man, but that's a different subject altogether*

So give it up ladies. Have you ever thrown anything at a man?

And men, has a woman ever thrown anything at you?

You cannot be married for 13 years and not throw anything.

And I had a great aim.

Still do.

I must regrettably confess that I have had things thrown at me, both when I deserved it and when I didn't, but not a shoe yet. I might add that I'm an elusive target, and have yet to be hit by a thrown object.

I've thrown my panties at men.

And I, too, have thrown myself at men.

I threw food at some boys in a cafeteria food fight, back in my younger days.

But I have never thrown a shoe at a man. Cant't imagine how or why a woman would. Shoes are expensive! And they wouldn't hurt nearly as much as other items, - skillets, picture frames, books, potted plants, etc. - that would be near at hand if needed.

A woman accidentally threw a dart at me once, or so she says.

I think it was because her sister was throwing kisses at me.

I really miss college.

Hmmm...I don't recall ever having thrown anything AT a man. I've thrown his things OUT the window onto the lawn before, though. ;)

I've never done that either. Thought about it, just never did it!

I was married for 15, but never threw a thing. Well, does throwing him out count?

I'm still waiting for a woman to throw herself at me and I guess that has to happen before we are together long enough for her to throw anything else at me.

Would you throw your AV at me..........please?

I think the best thing I ever threw was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Slapped him with it right in the face, right after he told me that I wouldnt do it.

It was the best feeling.

He never ever told me that I wouldnt do something again. ;)

(Let me put in here that this was after a long and dragged out argument about many things...I feel he deserved it.)

I totally agree. If you're gonna throw something, leave a mark. Do Prada's leave a mark? Maybe a little dimple right between the eyes?

*Disclaimer: I haven't slept in like 2 days... I'm feeling vicious today!*

OMG yes... though I'm not proud of it at all.

I knew the end of the relationship was coming. Things were getting bad between us, we were arguing all the time.

I'd just gotten back from doing something for him and he was being a little rude to me cause he wasn't getting his way.

At that point I'd had enough and picked up a huge bag of broken up floor tiles (he was removing them in his kitchen using a huge knife) in frustration and threw it at him. God help me I don't know what I was thinking. I could hear him sucking in his breath and resist the urge to strike back at me.

At that point I turned around, walked away without looking back and never saw him again.

Won't ever ever do that again.

Well, maybe she was just trying to get your attention?! I'd throw a dart at you too if it would maybe get me a glimpse of that cute butt!!

I must confess

I am a thrower. I've thrown shoes (running shoes) and lighters. I've thrown them at someone but mostly I throw things across the room when I'm extremely pissed off and need to release some anger.

Better than hitting someone or one of the pets, but not exactly adult behaviour

**hangs head**

he he he..btw..I connected with the shoes

That is always the best way to get me to do something. Just tell me I can't.
