Out-of-character quotes

Yeah there's quote threads, but this one focuses on quotes that are unexpectedly out of character for the quotee. I wonder how many such quotes we can find.

To kick things off I've got a beauty. This one comes from the Gospel of Thomas:

36) Jesus said, "Do not be concerned from morning until evening and from evening until morning about what you will wear."

Nothing in there about window treatments or sandal styles though, in case you were wondering.
