The St Andrew's cross was handmade by a Dom friend of ours & was a present for our wedding 2 weeks ago.

I've never bothered with an AV before, but this is such an amazing gift I wanted to show it off. Incubus took the photo last night.

As for the cross it looks wonderful, lovely pic

edit to add: I like the rope work on your legs and the sturdy looking foot plates on the cross. Had not thought of that before but it is a great idea if you have a tall Dom/Domme flogging a short sub

Thank you. Incubus put the photo up for me & I didn't realise that it's so dark it's hard to actually see the cross LOL.

It's about 7' tall & the footplates were a bit of an after thought apparently, because I'm quite little. Our Dom friend is 6'5" tall & Incubus is 6' himself. It has a double row of holes for threading, as well as hooks up each side. There are also hooks on the back of the cross for hanging storage of all the ropes. The present included a set of hand dyed ropes in various colours & lengths. It's beautifully crafted & has many layers of teak coloured stain to show off the grain of the wood (& to match our other furnishings).

It has pride of place in our living room & no doubt will be the focus of many interesting conversations.

I think he took about 5 pics last night & it's easier to see the detail on the cross when the whole pic is lighter. Don't know why it's come out so dark, as the originals are not. I'll ask Incubus to put the others up too. It's a fairly simple design, but beautifully made.

Oops. Apparently it takes ages to take the domestic background out of the pics & it's important to Incubus that pics for public viewing are up to his standard. He will lighten this pic though, to show the cross a bit better.

Sir Face, he says that designs for the cross are available on the net & he thinks that that's where our friend found it originally. The only thing that we would change is the foot plates. There really does need to be a slot so that your feet can fit into the cross itself. Would make it more comfortable to have your legs tied straight rather than a bit bent for long periods.
