Really the entire 3 ring circus as Schoolhouse Rock taught us. (Executive, Legislative. Judiciary) The only thing they don't control yet is the free press. And I am sure that is next in their crosshairs.

A big issue for me in this election was the continuation of the filibuster. For those of you that aren't too familiar with the filibuster, it takes 60 senators to bring legislation to the floor of the senate to debate a piece of legislation. Without those 60 senators, legislation can't move forward. There are exceptions to the filibuster usually dealing with passing a budget and under Chuck Schumer, the filibuster was removed for judicial nominees. Kamala Harris stated that she wanted to remove the filibuster, which frankly scared me to death.
So yes, the Republicans control much, but they too will have to make deals with the Democrats to get significant legislation passed. Most Democrats fail to understand that most Republicans would trade much away to make small gains.

If their legacy is a dynasty of failure - as is being set up currently - sounds good to me.
Us liberals are in full popcorn mode. Not our circus.
IF DonOld and the MAGAt republicans ACTUALLY deliver on their empty promises to the progressive economic populist workers, then all you will hear from me is cheering for THAT accomplishment.
Of course, if progress for economic populist workers comes at the cost of democracy, freedom, the environment, women’s health and safety, public health and safety, national security, and it contributes to the rise of white, Christo-fascist ultra-nationalism, then there will be more than a “scream at the sky” from this quarter.

Because the reality and fear is setting in that they now have to deliver on the most ludicrous promises in the history of politics, and there’s no one to blame but them???

Thanks for the trip down memory lane with the School House Rock nod. Certainly seems like they’ll not need much of a ringmaster.
And the attacks and weakening of the free press has been going on for some time. But yeah it will continue to dwindle and face attacks from within and without.
And with the attacks on books and history they hold most of the keys for now.
It makes for good late night fodder but that’s a far cry from where Democrats had hoped to have been.
Folks need to be actively working in the time being to take back some seats in the Midterms.
Will be interesting (maybe frightening) to see what happens in the first 100 days.
Crossing my fingers that Trump’s bite is worse than his bark. And that it amounts to a lot of bluff and hyperbole.

The House margin is so slim that the wacko Free-dumb Caucus will have complete control. They are voraciously publicity-hungry so the Clown Show will surely be entertaining. 
I remember how the America Rock segment "Elbow Room," about American territorial expansion, completely glossed over the Mexican-American War, and the Indian Wars.
And the whole series never touched on the Civil War at all. Nor the black civil rights movement.
But they just had to cover women's suffrage, for all those little white girls!
