Now ive done this on another forum and it spawned three reincarnations. all of which were pretty popular. So im going to try it here. There are over a gajillion members so hopefully we can get this rollin'

Post your desktops and let the world see your wallpaper, and the crazy amount of icons and shortcuts you have on your desktops. lol.

in case you dont know how. Just push the Print Screen button on the top of the keyboard, resize it and post it up here. Dont be shy with the Mp3 players or anything else that could ruin your reputation. hehe j/k

The wall paper is a pretty picture I found and then with my photo program I added the bubbles.
And I have a shit load of icons....

Okay, I'm really confused. I get the print screen thing, but where is the file located? I don't think mine works.

It ends up on your clipboard, and you have to open your image processing software and paste it as a new image.

Here's mine:
The wall paper is from the automatic camera on the Splash Mountain ride at Disneyland and cropped to delete the stangers. The inset in the upper right is my modem monitoring program.

(oops, the picture is too big, and doesn't want to reduce down under 100K and still be useable.)

open up graphics editing program (i use Paint Shop Pro 6, but MSPaint will do).. there should be some kind of command to Paste or Paste as New Image or something to that effect..

then just save it

Do you mean you can't paste anything into your image program?

Nothing appears to happen, but the image should be on the clipboard to be pasted into any program that can use the image.

Ally C. Thanks for the encouragment. Honostly right after I made the thread I hit the sack. I was so tired. hehe. & I kept having to resize the image over and over cuz the darn file was to big. lol. so i was plum tuckered.

Macbeth 2 OS's big hard drive. I am now jealous of thee. lol.

Guy JD Natalie Portman is very very cute and adorable and all that. Lots of class as well so that puts her high on my totem pole o' coolness.... oh and being in the Star Wars movies doesnt hurt her either. lol.

Mistress Hun your way to skilled with your programs. I couldnt do something simple like those bubbles if my life depended on it. lol. *shrugs*

My parents and I share this computer...so therefore I really have no say in what the wallpaper is. This is a painting that my dad REALLY loves, reminds him of his childhood growing up on a farm.

However the ICQ is my own, so I can do whatever I feel like with it....Isn't the unicorn pretty??
