Interesting times: In our internecine power struggle and inward focus, what moves will be made externally to weaken our position internationally by more focused players strutting upon the word stage? Have we put Central and South America into play? A lot of money is going there to build (subsidize) infrastructure to service the Chinese Navy and, in turn, send cheap South American oil to China fueling their economy and war machine, inundating the world with the the cheap, economy-eroding products of slave labor; a transfer of resources from this hemisphere to resource-strapped China and an increasing reliance on China to keep our economy running.
Now, here’s the question that comes to my mind: Will our choice of leader this November have any substantial effect on the Communist Chinese Calculus?
I think that it will have a profound effect on world pricing. Trump would reengage the domestic oil industry and lower the cost of oil. The Chinese would like to have copious quantities of cheap oil since they have to import it. I have to assume that President Harris would most certainly work to keep common-sense curbs on domestic production keeping oil prices high which would hurt the Chinese ability to project power as well as protect our fragile, dying planet.
