Interesting times: In our internecine power struggle and inward focus, what moves will be made externally to weaken our position internationally by more focused players strutting upon the word stage? Have we put Central and South America into play? A lot of money is going there to build (subsidize) infrastructure to service the Chinese Navy and, in turn, send cheap South American oil to China fueling their economy and war machine, inundating the world with the the cheap, economy-eroding products of slave labor; a transfer of resources from this hemisphere to resource-strapped China and an increasing reliance on China to keep our economy running.

Now, here’s the question that comes to my mind: Will our choice of leader this November have any substantial effect on the Communist Chinese Calculus?

I think that it will have a profound effect on world pricing. Trump would reengage the domestic oil industry and lower the cost of oil. The Chinese would like to have copious quantities of cheap oil since they have to import it. I have to assume that President Harris would most certainly work to keep common-sense curbs on domestic production keeping oil prices high which would hurt the Chinese ability to project power as well as protect our fragile, dying planet.

I have every doubt that Momala has any idea about any of this.

Harris has probably never even heard of Wolf Warrior diplomacy and has no idea on how to handle this.....the Chinese are increasingly using the Chinese Navy to project force and they're willing to go in there to protect Chinese interests as well. If you've never seen "Wolf Warrior 2" it's worth watching. The biggest grossing Chinese movie ever when it came out, and it portrays a much more bellicose China.

Not that wikipedia is a font of accurate information, but in this case it seems to be more or less saying it like it is

29:20 says it all - the Chinese Navy steaming in as the US Navy steams out....very symbolic

What makes you fools think that trump would do any better with China than VP Harris? What in his reign of error leads you to believe that?

US production of oil has gone up and up under the Biden administration.

US Field Production of Crude Oil

MAGAs like to pretend that oil production has been “curbed” but that’s just another of the imaginary things they whine about. 😆

Remember when trump promised to ban Huawei due to National Security threats? Remember he was too deep into Xi and too much of a pussy to pull the trigger?

President Biden and VP Harris were not.

2020: The FCC designated Huawei and ZTE as national security threats to communications networks, and ordered US carriers to remove their equipment. The FCC also barred US companies from using an $8.3 billion government fund to buy equipment from Huawei and ZTE.

2022: The FCC banned the import and sale of Huawei equipment

2023: The US revoked some licenses that allowed companies to ship goods to Huawei

I don't see much of a future for China. It currently has a huge quantity of low end manufacturing, which it will lose as shipping becomes more expensive and consumer nations resume their own manufacturing. The birthrate is in the basement. That is better than mass infanticide with such a huge unsustainable population, but the kicker is the aging population becoming too old to work and far past childbearing age. Culling the seniors will happen somehow, by starvation, war, mass execution, and/or mass suicide. The navy exercises are expensive displays of drone targets. The government of just one man making decisions for all the 1.4 billion people and eliminating anyone competent enough to succeed him is making many mistakes that will end in one big last mistake.

You'll eventually be right if you predict "doom" for decades. Is that wait you're waiting for?

One day, you'll learn the difference between being an ignorant twat and being mean. Today is not that day. Tomorrow isn't looking good either.
Wat's been more than a bit truculent since folks started referring to him as Lit's StayPuft Marshmallow Man the past few days. He's having PTSD flashbacks to junior high, before he was old enough to purchase his "Therapy PewPews".

I've noticed his misplaced surliness of late. I'm sure corralling the feral felines that plague his encampment and the angry landlady are not helping ease his pain.
