Other Languages Problem

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right section, but there seems to be a problem with the Other Langues / Non English Section. I post stories in this section which get accepted but the stories seem to 'disappear'. If I search for a story by name, it finds it and tells me it is under a certain section. If I look under that section, e.g. Loving Wives, I can't find it. If you look at the story count under Non English stories, it still reads 0. Can anyone look into this, please? One such story is called 'Dans Met Die Duiwel'

I think your problem is using the 'Non-English' category. A few months back now Laurel and Manu started new categories for different languages, German, french, Dutch,Spanish etc.

There are a series of country flags on the main stories page you can click on and there is also a line saying 'If you are an author who submits in a language other than English click here'. Both these will get you to the appropriate language section.

Each different language has all the categories of the English section, so when yoa are searching for 'Dans met Die Duiwel' you are being pointed to the 'Loving Wives' category in the Dutch (or is it German)language series.

Don't use the 'Other Languages/Non-English' heading because it is now redundant.

It is easy really, must be if I understand it, but if you need any more help just reply.

Many thanx for your kind reply and explanation. It is very much appreciated. I have noticed the different language categories but unfortunately the language that I also write in (Afrikaans) is not one of the options. Therefore I have to select Other. This is when the story become very hard to find. I have used 'Afrikaans' as one of the keywords (as I have done with my previous stories) but when I do a keyword search using 'Afrikaans' as the keyword, I find all my older stories, but not the latest one (Dans Met Die Duiwel). Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Afrikaans is not one of the current 'other languages' that the site supports. However, why don't you post in Dutch, which is virtually the same as long as you don't use that dratted double negative!

There is a Dutch superstar on the site, Black Tulip, who can give you much better advice than me. Also, her stories in Dutch are pretty hot.
