The notion of the big lie has been around for long time. It is interesting how it works though....
For instance....CRT has become a big lie. This actually works better for those spreading the lie.... because not being able to find a shred of evidence plays well with dopies. They are told that the reason they can't find any evidence is because school board administration, school boards, politicians are all in on it together as a grand conspiracy to implement their agenda...in this case a socialist, Communist, Dems agenda.
Those who spread these big lies are "free" from providing evidence or facts, since there are none...they are free to spread their beliefs, innuendo, accusations and these can seem to the ignorant and uneducated, as a more compelling argument. This is how repeating the message, over and over, works..."everyone knows it", "everyone is talking about it". It is repeated until it seems like fact.
The children's story of Johnny Appleseed is great example of how the repeating of a mythologized narrative becomes fact and the actual story of Johnny Appleseed gets lost for good
Lack of evidence becomes the focal point of distrust...."they are lying to you, they are lying to us.... they hide the truth." This is how it works.
