This thread will tell the story of Kain's first encounter with the Skorrian Empire, when they take over his country and he is the only survivor when his town is massacred.

Description: Sabre typically wears loose-fitting clothes that allow him maximum freedom of movement. He is not too strong, but extremely graceful and dexterous in his movements. Excellent hand-eye coordination and crazy-fast reflexes. He rides a hi-speed motorcycle. He packs a pair of large-caliber pistols in holsters under his jacket, a vibra-sabre on his back, and knives in holsters on each of his boots. He's a crack-shot and an excellent swordsman.
Bio.: Charlie Mallory Hatfield was born on the west coast of the north american continent. When he was 15 his parents were disappeared by the Chinese government (he thinks), and he's been on his own ever since. He bounced around the west for a few years, picking pockets, burglarizing rich folks, before getting into street-level illicit drug sales. This was when he learned to shoot a gun and wield a blade, and his near-superhuman reflexes and dexterity allowed him to master those skills quickly. As he started making more and more money he drew the attention of the Chinese gov't and barely escaped from old Los Angeles with his life, when he was 18. On a "borrowed" motorcycle he headed east, and the gov't let him go, having no desire to chase him into the badlands. He took the name Sabre Whitelok and spent the next couple of years bouncing around a very Mad Max type of environment. He met a woman and they fell in love and tried to escape. She was so beautiful, and attracted the attention of a gang of miscreants in Utah. She was raped and killed, but then Sabre killed them all. And discovered they had a couple briefcases full of pure Colombian cocaine. He headed east again, and made a shitload of money in the metropolis where he finally unloaded the stuff, and made connections with the Mob and the Masks, and started doing contract work for both groups, mostly smuggling drugs and weapons and money, sometimes taking people out, sometimes gathering information. He is a consummate professional.
