A friend of mine showed me this article last night.

Obviously it's been around for a while, but being down this end of the ball, we don't get to hear much about stuff like this until it's passe.

I didn't know whether to laugh at the absurdity (there seems to be a great deal of it. Suggesting people OM together in a professional environment as a tool for of conflict resolution? Um...no) or be slightly intrigued.

I suspect a lot of my attitude comes from both my automatic dislike of anything that seems faddish and slickly marketed (I don't own a single Apple product) and personal discomfort with the idea of random people touching me in an intimate fashion. I have massive personal space issues, so suspect that a lot of the 15 minutes would consist of trying to make myself stop freaking out and actually let the person come within five feet.

But what if? The science seems to have some basis in validity. Could this actually be of some benefit?

What do you reckon? Fad or fantastic? Potential for abuse? Could people ever get over their in built puritan long enough to be non judgemental and actually make it standard practice in daily life, as the founder suggests?

Everything about that just screams "CREEPY!"
Like all the stories here on lit-- loving wives, non-con, fetish, BDSM you name it-- that take place in office settings. I just-- ugh, no.

But there's no reason why we cant replicate this modern miracle of sexuality:rolleyes: ourselves;
Over the course of 15 minutes, timed, the partner rubs the upper left quadrant of the woman's clitoris, and she surrenders to involuntary sensation.

Let's all try it and report back! :cattail:

I LIKE GUM!!!:D:D

No for real--They are monetizing female orgasm. As if women are not propped up as sexual objects and used to make people rich for years. My reaction to the whole thing in one picture:

I felt super uncomfortable just reading the article - and if the gut tells you something is wrong it probably is. The simultaneous emotional connection of sharing before but clinical disconnection during would really mindfuck me in a bad way.

Funny thing is, as a fantasy it's kinda hot. Reality: not, not, NOT!

Whatever gets your rocks off?

Whenever orgasm becomes something of inflated importance, I check out. I prefer it to be something that is just for kicks and nothing requiring much analysis or scrutiny because it would otherwise create unnecessary pressure to perform. Any reason to think in those moments, and I'll screw it up.

Oh wow, I threw up a little when I read this, "But she said, "If we have employee problems, we're like, let's OM together. Yeah, if two people have a discrepancy, we say: OM together!"
Imagining doing this with an asshole, with whom I work. Gross and helllllllll NO!

Secondly, those prices??? This is some kind of new-agey scam. Lordy.

The article does seem to switch between this being a common thing in the work place to better connections with lovers.
In private, between couples, sure. Gee being pleasured without expectations, of fucking course it makes women feel good. I'm also certain we get the same hormonal responses when given a massage
Men, pay attention to your woman. That'll be $15,000
