I recently started to experiment with this. Bought a PlusOne prostate massager, disappointed because I expected vibration but it's just a fixed device. Prostate massagers are the way to go in my opinion. General dildos and such can get you there but they aren't designed specifically to hit the prostate. Neither are plugs.

For massagers, if it is a static piece, then I find the key is to wear it for a good while. Walk around with it. I really like sitting with my back straight up and rolling my hips to and fro and just generally grinding on the toy.

I like ones with rings for removal. Then when I'm good and ready I like to sit back, prop my heels up so my legs are spread but I can still press down, then I grab the ring and pull it so the massager feels like it's going to pop out but I don't let it and let it slip back in. not so far....the candle is big enough so I never lose my grip. the candle is fresh and pliable so just gets soft not brittle but I take care and use it gently....Just feeling slide over prostate until the inner coil gets wound up then releases.
