However, if you absolutely do not want any attachments whatsoever, then the image must be hosted online otherwhere, and then embed it however you want.
This and this explains it much better than I could.
Try opening your User CP link (upper left of your screen) in a new tab or window. Then click on Attachments at the bottom of the list. That'll show you all of the pics you've attached.
Then go edit your AmPics post, and follow the instructions for indexing that Fire linked to. Basically, you copy the URL of the attachment you want to list (you can do this by right-clicking the attachment link in the list you opened from your User Cp in a new tab/window), then (in the 1st post of your Ampics thread) type the text you want to appear, highlight said text, and click the
button. Finally, paste the URL of the attachment that you copied in the box that pops up and click OK. If you do it correctly, it'll look like this (w/o the asterisks):
Preview your post to ensure your link is correct and repeat this procedure with all of the attachments you want in the index. Once you do it right, you should be able to zip through it, then just add to it as you post more pics.
This stuff isn't difficult if you're willing to follow instructions, try some things, problem-solve mistakes and be patient. Once you figure out the basics of vBcode and using the forum tools, it'll become much easier. But as with just about anything, there's a bit of a learning curve.
