It is an interesting coincidence that Oprah experiences racism soon after the Zimmerman trial. I am sure she knows how these snobby upscale stores operate. So if she shows up looking poorly dressed they would assume she is...poor.
How can she make the claim she was badly treated because she is Black? Where is her definitive proof? Did the clerk make any reference to her race? Seems not, because now she is backpedaling. Is she now looking to avoid a lawsuit? Oprah may have just learned something: This is not true in the area of public opinion, but in the legal world if one is to play the Race Card, the proof had better be more than an just an assumption.
If she is sued over this, I will find it a bit amusing.
