Opposite sex best friend

Someof my best friends are of the opposite sex. I think it shows well rounded people if they can maintain a friendship with the opposite sex and not make it about gender.

My best friend is a male. He's awesome! We went out a few times when we first met, but then we decided to just be friends. He's the best. I think men make the best friends - you can tell them anything and they don't spread it around because they promptly forget what you said! LOL

;)

My longest, best friend is of the opposite sex. We met when we were both 5 years old and the relationship has lasted for the past 19 years.

He tried to kiss me once when we were 10 and I gave him a black eye, other than that it has remained strictly and comfortably platonic and very very close - we lose touch every few years and always end up finding each other somehow.

The majority of my friendships are with men, mostly because the women I find myself around offline are simpering, weak minded idiots who I can't stand to be around. :D

My best friend is of the opposite sex. Our history entails more than friendship and that makes the relationship very awkward at times, but because we are such amazing friends, we have found ways to work past that.

I prefer hanging out with women...my best friend is a woman, and throughout my life I have always had close female friends.

My closest friends - the ones I would tell absolutely anything to - are other females. However, I have always enjoyed solid friendships with guys, and I'm sure I always will.

Mr K and I are fortunate to have many really awesome couples as close mates, and we are all really casual and easygoing with eachother; I would never even blink if he told me he was going to hang out with one of the women in our 'circle' without me, and I reckon he feels the same about me with the men.

My immediate ex is one of my best friends still. We're also fuck buddies at the moment, but I think our friendship will last when that's over.

I don't really have any other close male friends. I've noticed in the past that the men that supposedly wanted to be my friends really planned on using that friendship as an angle for a relationship. If that didn't work out, then they didn't really want to invest that much into a friendship.
Sometimes, I use my friendships with women to help me hook up with other women...but I help the chicks out too.

My best friend is male. There was never any sexual tension, and about two years into our friendship, he realized he was gay, which explained quite a lot of things.

I took a look at those pics, Wiggles...I can see why it might be hard to be 'just friends' with you!

Back on track..

My best friend is female and I have a plethera of female friends. It is easy to maintain a friendship with ANYONE who is worth maintaining one with, gender makes no difference, same with age. You coo...we get along...then thats all that matters.

Plus I personaly feel that having as many female friends as I do it helps me keep perspective in a way that male friends are unable to do..and visa versa...

You got to look for answers to your questions and reasons for everything...answers come from everywhere and everyone. No matter if your hot, ugly, old, young, male or female.
