OPM get's hacked and China is blamed
At least 65% of all OPM records breached, this includes detailed background checks for civilian employes, military and intelligence personnel seeking security clearances and background checks performed for the military and over 100 other federal agencies.
No mention by the feds that it's our own fault because foreign nationals (located in Argentina and China) were contracted to manage the personnel records and were given complete access to all of the databases.
Have you ever submitted SF85 or SF86? There's a high probability all the information you provided is on the open market.
I wonder if the government will ever hire IT people who know anything about system security. I mean people who want to secure the systems, not hack them.
