It seems statistically relevant.
so...is writing about such taboo things causing writer's block consistently?
(treading lightly with the next idea) are there developmental issues amongst those who prefer this sort of fiction?
Is it a very prevalent theme overall amongst actual writers writing their own stories?
Is it some sort of validation/permission to fantasize thing if someone else writes such themes for you?
The thing that interests me about it is that pick your scenario...why do the two people doing x-y-or z need to be related for the story idea generator to appreciate the texture of the story....
I would think that just like a non-incest-specific fan could apply a generic story to that cute girl next door, why is it that incest fans need the relationship between the two people spelled out...if they have incestuous feelings for mom-sis-brother-uncle, cant they just superimpose that person in any given story they read.
I think this may be one of those just not my thing situations, but it seems odd how many people are pining for such fiction.
I once (for 6 months or so) authored a blog on a subject that one would assume at the time would be near-traumatic for me...I did it primarily when I noticed the theme was under served, I had stumbled upon a nifty hook, and it was a fun writing exercise. I must confess though that with what was going on my so-called real life at the time it might have been a subconscious attempt at catharsis.
