I usually go for 'decisions that lead to consequences,' creating a branched story—one decision, one scene—or with some kind of point system if it's some kind of accumulative thing. However, I'm having some thoughts about making a story game with a lot of random events, even random choices from a pool. What do you think about randomness in this kind of game? Do you think I should acknowledge this randomness inside the story to create curiosity for a second play thought (for example, a virtual dice or some kind of narrative device like the main character tossing a coin because he believes in luck and destiny)?
