Just my two cents, I can imagine it being a fetish. It is different than skin, but often still nice to touch. Certain styles can heavily be associated with a gender. Having something so malleable in your hands can be nice. A few strands to a fist full. You can go further as some derive pleasure from yanking it. Maybe a power dynamic there too, where you can control the body and pleasure in some cases.

It is also very personal. An extension of being that is part of their image you're letting slide through your fingers. I don't know. Can be hot. Even so, I don't have the fetish. I'm as curious as you.
