I'm looking for a story about a mature couple that mutually decide to have an open marriage. They could be "empty nesters" or retired or living in a retirement community (something like The Villages in Florida). What I'm specifically looking for is a scenario where the wife gets lots of action but her husband struggles to get any. The husband obviously sees she's having fun and it has boosted their personal sex life but he doesn't see himself as attractive or desirable to other women. He doesn't want to say anything but he goes into a spiral of despair. The wife sees that her husband isn't fairing so well and she takes it upon herself to restore his confidence and his joy of life. The wife discovers a lot about a man's perspective along the way. I'd prefer an ending where everything turns out better than it ever was!
I know I'm dreaming right? We're talking fantasy here. Besides is it really that big of a fantasy that a wife could be SO nice?
