First of all, thank you for the great feedback. I really appreciate them all. I wish those of you sending atta boy feedback would send your email. I would like to answer you personally. Today's specific question is about Dr. Dementia and the Jewel... I know the ending is not satisfactory to everyone. No other ending would have been either. What I usually do with all my stories, both short and novel length, is to end them at a place where the reader gets to fill in his own post ending story.

I went through all this with "The Thing On The Pier." It was the first of my stories which got a lot of this type email. So write your own next bit with the ending you would like to see.
