They look like Rudolph's nose.No,a little bigger,like Bozo's nose.
Well,no,bigger than that--like Ted Kennedy's nose!

They're soaking up aloe like sponges.Any ideas? This stings like the Dickens!

If its sunburn try some tomatoes from the fridge (just slice and lay slices on the sore bits) and keep up the aloe.......also any sunburn cream that contains novacaine is good as it numbs.....if its too bad then get yourself to a doctor!

If its a burn (scald etc) then get yourself in the shower and run cold water on them for a min of ten minutes then go to the doctor.

ouch... ok this will sting for a littel while but will feel better afterwards... soak em in vinegar. Yep that's right vinegar. it takes the burning out and they will heal faster.

Ah.

Add about a cup or even two to a nice cool tubful of water, soak awhile, and when you get out spray on Solarcaine... or GENTLY apply any other topical painkiller you have handy.

Keep up your fluids, take a couple of Tylenol, and try to avoid a bra for the next couple of days.

wow becareful you only get one pair

After you finish with all the above suggestions

Make sure you keep them "hydrated" for several days. LAVISH them with lotion or cream. My favorite is "udderly smooth" udder cream. I kid you not. It's GREAT STUFF! and will keep them soft and supple and from drying out and cracking.

I can SO sympathize. Poor baby! <gentle gentle hugs>

I did soak in the tub a while. The tomatoes sound good.I'll give that a shot next.No work tomorrow. No sun tomorrow either!

Kitty-are you sure about the vinegar?

Try tea. Make some very strong tea and allow it to cool. Soak some cotton strips in the tea and lay them across your breasts. The tannic acid in the tea will not only sooth, but promote healing.

Someplace-I totally forgot about the udder cream-I've got some of that! It's great stuff.I'll put the tomatoes on top!

I was only out shopping for a few hours. Not sunbathing;but I look like the Red Lobster poster child.97 with a heat index of 106 today.Rest & air conditioning tomorrow!

Thank you all so much for the ideas!:rose:

I'm going to watch the rest of Sling Blade and apply the recommended remedies.Lots of water and rest for this girl tonight-I'll update tomorrow.

nighty night:heart:

Day 2..............

Shoulders & chest pretty red & warm.Feels kinda tight also. The udder cream & tomatoes feel good.

A few more hours of this and I should be OK.I haven't been this crispy in a long time.I hope there's something good on TV this morning; It's going to be a day of R&R.

Thanks so much for the suggestions.I'm going to keep a copy for future reference.

 Missy:heart:

Glad to hear that your on the mend. I'd still aviod the sun for a week or two at least, your skin is going to be very tender while it regenerates itself.

Just wait until you peel.......Ewwww!
