OOC: X-Men return of the brotherhood.

After seeing X-3 (I wont spoil the ending for those who haven't seen it.) I have been wanting to do some kind of X-men rp that would take place as kind of a 4th movie. Obviously bad guys are beaten in the third movie so in this world they are rising again, along with another evil that could overwhelm everyone. (hint hint; he's big, he's blue and he's a million years old.)

Other Distinguishing Features: Jake may be on the small size for a 22 year old man, but he is exceptionally cut and his strength is masked by his small stature leaving him underestemated by friend and foe alike.
Known Mutant Powers: Aside from inhuman strength and an unsual sort of speed, his main mutant power nullifies any other mutant power used against him. However this power only works against non-physical types of mutant powers, i.e. cyclops' energy blasts would turn to nothing as they hit him, however Collosus's would be able to hit across the block because Strength is physical.

You can create your own or be any classic X-men, I'm hoping whomever becomes Rogue takes the comic version of this amazing chacter. but either way this is open to anyone so feel free.

Afraid I haven't seemn the movie just yet, but I'm fixing to change that soon. All the same, I think I'll be submitting a character soon. Perhaps my go-to guy, Multiple Man...

Two lil questions before I commit - sound like it, but do you actually have a more definite grand scheme in mind? And are you depending on us players to fill out both the X-men and the 'hood? I'm fine either way, but if there's no evil greater than what players volunteer I'll want to play my guy a little more badass, know what I mean? (Okay, third question - Multi is a bad guy according to the movie, right?)

This is going to have a large sexual theme to it. I figure after the events in X-3 characters need to let out, well lets call it frustrations. When the time comes for the villian to arrise I play play him until then no one will know what or who he is.
I need more people to sign up before I start anything though.

Known Mutant Powers: (Taken from my knowledge of the comic) Jamie can instantaneously self-replicate an unknown but large number of times. That is, he can make fully independent duplicates of himself. Upon physical contact he can also absorb a duplicate, its memories, and experiences. Each dupe possesses the same ability as the "core," Jamie. Whether these "dupes" are simply extensions of himself or true individuals is as of yet unknown and an issue Jamie struggles with - are they people or cannon fodder?


Affiliation will be clarified as things shape up.

Mutant Power: Draco is the last in the line of descendants of the legendary samurai, Musashi Miyamoto. He is able to generate a variety of elemental energies which he can channel into his katanas. Using them, he can do things such as cause local earthquakes and break rocks, cause massive gusts of wind, and even put out and start fires. He doesn't know if it's a mutant power or not, but his own research into his family's genetic code indicates that he inherited the power from the swords, which originally belonged to Musashi, famous for his dualwielding technique. It seems almost as if touching the swords awoke latent powers locked in his DNA. He currently travels the world, honing his skill with both Musashi's swords, and his powers. He is currently standing outside Xavier's institute, surveying it.

She has inherited many of the powers her sister had. She is warry of the Xavier School but also is skittish of the others since both sides had a hand in the undoing of her sister Jane. She speaks her mind and has a raging temper and in those instances she can kill at will with only a blink of an eye. She is underground and is looking for her way.

This is quite a disappointing number so far... I mean, I know there are a few similar threads out there, but c'mon. "Ground floor" and all that jazz.

Besides, I'm playing as Multiple Man! Just think of all the naughty possibilities, ladies! One man not enough? Try two. Or ten, even! This's a guy who can turn masturbation into an orgy. And perhaps the best part - you're still only cooking breakfast for two in the morning.

Hopefully we can get a couple more interested folks. If this doesn't work, I'll offer to entertain the bi guys as well as the gals. Anything to gain a following.

Ghost Wrangler

Name: Natalie McShale
Age: early twenties

Phys. Desc.: Petite, but has a feminine, attractive shape with decent sized breasts, a small waist and a curvacious bottom. She has big grey-blue eyes which appear to glow misty grey when she senses an otherworldly presence nearby and when she is in communication with the dead. Her hair is auburn red and flows to her waist.

Orphaned from a young age, age ten, her parents died from mysterious causes. Diaries of her religious mother stated that she believed Natalie was a demon, an evil force. Natalie could see and speak with the non-living, often calling upon them to do things for her. When angry, the child could unconsciously summon up some of the worst spirits and combine their powers and anger into one huge dark force that could spontaniously combust objects, and toss things around the house.

Most of the spirits that hover around Ghost Wrangler are good ones because that's who she'll call to her side and communicate with. On occasion, an evil one still slips in and she still has trouble getting them to go back into their realm once she's unleashed an evil spirit. The good ones return to their place willingly. She doesn't rememeber and doesn't speak of it but it is believed by some that her overly strict, religiously devout, parents were killed by one of Ghost Wrangler's accidental evil spirit rages.
