"It was once said that the cherry blossums recieved their beautiful colors because an emperor once burried a dead soldier killed in battle under each tree back in the old days. That is how the cherry blossums received their beautiful, yet sad, pink petals.
The way of the sword is simular in a ways. In one perspective, it gives a person a feel of honor, he/she builds their own code of honor based on their principals, and follow it to their death. In other words, to live and die by their blade.
On the other hand, the way of the sword can lead to the path of utter destruction, twisting and warping a persons soul into something as evil, and in some cases, worse than the devil himself. Many have died by the blade, inocent, and guilty.
In a way, the way of the sword, or any weapon of that matter, is like a balance of good and evil, Yin and Yang. The only difference that this way of a weapon has no balance between sanity, and insanity, no boundry, no line. For if it does indeed have one, it is a very, fine line."
In other words, choose your path in life carefully, for you may just end up like one of the soldiers under the cherry blossums...
This is an Samurai thread open to all who are willing to join. People can choose from Samurais, ninjas, clergie man, civilians etc. I haven't decided exactly when I was going to set the time period, except it was going to be right before, or right after the civial war.
If have any questions to ask me, please feel free to ask.
