OOC: War of Draconian

The Draconian are half dragon, half human. There are two kinds of them:
The Draken are human sized averaging the height of 6' for men and 5' 6" for women. They have fangs, claws, wings, and scales of dragons. They have human hair as well, but baldness isn't uncommon in the men. Typically they have a lean but muscular build like that of an Olympic runner.
The Centy are much bigger then most common races reaching sizes of 7' quite often by adult hood. Unlike the build of the Draken the Centy have large muscular frames. They often have horns, scales, tails, claws and fangs of dragons. How ever they posses limited use of something the draken don't, the breath weapons of dragons.

Now these two types of draken seldom interbreed, and when they do rape is a common cause of it. The two types of Draconians have fought for many many centuries, and had numerous wars with many dead. During this story they are in the middle of a war that has been going on for two years already.

Now that thats done, forget it. Thats only a back drop to the real plot which is More of a mercenary tell. With a bit of Sim City thrown in because while you adventure around the world your fellow city members will be building up a town so it's important to voice whats More important to you, a black smith or a library and many other places will be mentioned as well as time goes on.

To get things started an iron mine has been reopened in between two major cities of Lorum and Rivent. This stretch of land was burnt to the ground in an unexplained fire twenty years ago but since then the forest has grown think once more and a group of people simply can not resist the temptations of this peace of land, not owned by either kingdom it has an excellent location for trade, and potential of resources such as iron and lumber.

OOC:
so the two draconian races ar ethe only ones we can use?jus asking(even though i want to be one lol)
im guessing tis upposed to be like village dynamics suca s liek a town hall ro the greatest fighter rules etc.?

Actually I was simply waiting for any feed back.

Races:
Humans are the dominate race of the world, they can enter any town and seldom face any discrimination. Well that not entirely true there are four great elven cities, and a few dwarven cities and the two Draconian strong holds, how ever they will not find much trouble in the strong holds. They also tend to learn faster then most races.

Elves: I use a four elf system different from the traditional idea. There are four kinds of elves: high, dark, fire, and water. Each elf race has one great city left the rest of the elves have moved onto the next world. Each elf race has a different advantage that becomes quite powerful with training. Fire elves can control fire and heal faster in fire. Water elves can control water and breath under water. High elves can use light magic to greater effect and receive either a boost or reduction to the effect of light magic used on them. Shadow elves are stronger then other elves and can use shadow magic.

Half elves can be mixed with human or other elves. They have the second advantage on each list. The only mix not allowed is half shadow half light.

Darken: they are covered in the first chapter and typically are seen as war mongers. They how ever are just as rational as any other race but simply not liked.

Centy: Much the same as darken but since they are going to be a strong opposing force I recommend avoiding them.

Lastly the Dwarves: Dwarves are simply not liked. They are also shorter then humans and elves. They learn faster then elves or Draconian but slower then humans. They also are more durable then elves or humans. In a since they are jack of all trades.

The City:

The city set up is in the since the strong run it. How ever it isn't that simple. No one person is ever capable of running it on their own. Money does talk, but so do fame, power, and kindness. While the adventure goes buildings you would like to have will probably appear, run them threw me some how.

At the start there will be an Inn and the mines. Other then that 2 or 3 homes. Other buildings that are nice is a library, chemist, blacksmith, various temples, docks, a dam,a ship yard, and guard towers. All of these places can be up grades and will more then likely need to be up graded sooner or latter.
