OOC: Vampire's Embace casting call

*Vampire's Embrace is a local Los Angeles club provides playthings and food for the creatures of the night. The Owner, Mina Bloodthorne is a half vampire and by day she runs a roduction company. By night she is Mistress of the club and sees that all her undead kin and other creatures such as werewolves and werecats occasionally have some place where they can come for fun and sustinace.*

Mina Bloodthorne- She's around a hundred years old though no one is sure. she has skin like alabater and the most unusual viloet eyes and black hair. Mina stand 5'8 and has a very delicious slim and busty body. Her mother was duchess from romania and her father a vampire count. They fell in love and Mina's mother was turned a few years after her birth. When they were killed by a hunter Mina fled to America and found solace in LA. After many years of seeing her kin slain and harassed she created Embrace. An exclusive club that is invite only, for safety reasons of course.

Ambrose:

Ambrose is a warlock, trading in memories, shadows, dreams and lost things. He has acquired pasts and names like the silt and sand on a caddis fly, and currently does business in a small shop in a quiet area of the city, open only for three hours, from midnight to two o'clock in the morning, a night. In the small, dimly lit space strange customers haggle over stranger things.

Ambrose's appearance is that of a pale youth, with deep, dark eyes like wells of cold, strange knowledge, and short, smooth dark hair. He generally dresses in black, and sometimes meets clients in the Vampire's Embrace to talk business.

Jayven- 500 years old, 6'2, 180lbs, short black spiky hair, bright jade green eyes, muscular body, bright smile that he never used, dark vampiric aura surrounding him, chiesled features

Jayven was born of a witch (whose line is now extinct) who was raped by one of the most powerful vampires known to man. The witch abandoned him fearing that her race would disown her for interactions with a vampire. With the potent blood of a vampire, mixed with the magical blood of a witch, he was able to raise himself until he was murdered at age 18. He never really realized his full potential until he began his after life as a vampire. Currently, he is the most powerful vampire in his line, making him one of the strongest living (still, there are those few that intimidate him). He is cold hearted and never experienced love, even when he was alive. he needs no money for human food, housing or clothing and likewise does not work. he spends his time travelling and mingling with humans that he eventually feeds off of. His most recent stop is Los Angeles, where he's heard about a marvelous club for vampires...

She is fascinated by the world of the vampires. She believes emphatically in their exsistence spending hours online looking at website's about real life vampires ad reading fantasy books about the undead.


She feels unconnected to this modern world. Always shunned for her dark,brooding ways, never accepted by the world.

She has heard of a new club,"the vampire's Embrace" and it is rumoured that real vampires meet and eat there. Victoria is determined to become one of them amnd this club seems to be her best place to start.

She goes merely by that one name, though most who already know her will address her as Cori. She was embraced at the young age of 18. Her sire was known as one of the most powerful vampires within the States. He simply chose to enslave her to him. She was dependent on him for everything including life. His blood was her sustenance, he drew her further and further into the dark practices of the blood thirsty ones. She was his dead lover, his sweet little angel of death, his morbid little princess. Just recently her sire was killed, by a group of young rogues who feared he was gaining too much power, casting Corinth into a world she had never tread upon on her own. Though many know of her and her former status, she wasn't much aware of them. She merely did as was told by her sire.

There had been whispers of a club opening, one for their own kind. They wouldn' t have to worry about being harrassed or shielding their true natures. Corinth was intrigued, perhaps this would prove to be fun...or at least a hunting ground.

Janus was the fifth child born to a Roman Senator in the third century B.C. Once old enough he joined the legion. After spending time on the outskirts of the empire he was made an immune. He joined in the waragainst Hannibal and was grieviously wounded in one of the battles. That's when his sire found him and brought him back from the brink of death.

His sire wanted him around for muscle as he was more of a social creature and the times were troubling. Janus did as he was asked, slowly learning the social graces. His sire eventually decided the times were safe enough and released Janus to fend for himself.

Janus has dozed his way through the intervening centuries, spending some time awake but most of it asleep. In those times awake he has sired a few childer of his own and left them to their own devices when he went back into slumber.

Over that time he made his was to the United states while is was still young, finding he enjoyed being on the fringe of society. He's only recently reawakened in the Los Angelos area and heard about the Embrace and decided to look into it.

Despriction: Erick is a vampire slayer. And a good one at that.in fact he is the one who killed Mina's parents. But that would make him veyr old indeed, though he looks no mor ethan 20.

umm Mina owner of Embrace after dealing with her Hunter ex husband is currently getting horizontal with a vamp name dJauns who is one of the Anceitn ones. Corinth has become an Eater after boding with Lavicus. Eater is my word for those who feed on their own kind.

Ideyoshi Kotoro

Age: 412 (appears to be in his early 20's)
Height: 5'5
Build: thin, but muscled

Kotoro was a samurai at the begining of the Tokugawa Period of Japan (early 1600's). One night in Kyoto, he was at a geisha house. He had gotten drunk earlier, and he then tried to propistion a geisha. The girl refused, and Kotoro in a rage used his grandfather's katana to take her head. More repulsive still, the then had his way with her corpse.

His crime was soon found out, and the people were outraged, even more so because of the location: Kyoto was the city in which the Emporer, the Son of Heaven, resided. Kotoro was order to commit seppuku. Even further in his shame, the young man refused and went into hiding as a ronin.

He could not hide from Amaterasu the Sun Goddess, however. She sent her kami to punish the young samurai. His soul was separated from his body, but his conciousness was forced to remain in it. As a result, he wanders the earth as a shade of sorts.

Unlike traditional vampires, Kotoro does not thirst for blood. Rather, in order to maintain his own existance, he feeds on the souls of his victims.

Despite his grotesque means of survival, Kotoro has spent the past centuries trying to atone for his deeds by living as stricly as possible by the Code of Bushido.

btw, since he isn't a normal vampire, i've been trying to figure out what powers/weaknesses he has...any suggestions would be appreciated...

ummmmmmm I have to say mirrors which reflect the true nature of his own 'soul' hehe not a sight to see and maybe more sensative to bright lights than others.

that's cool...a mirror, camera or other recording device would show him only as a black hole in reality. i'm thinking he will be able to see people's souls also, but that's not much of a power when compared with super speed or control over animals or anything...maybe he'd be able to do a "puppeteer" thing and control mortals by twisting the workings of their souls...i dunno....but that still doesn't say what would kill him...
