Welcome to one of the most famous towns in all of the wild west.Tombstone is a silver mining town in Arizonia in 1879.It was fast becoming one of the biggest towns in all the west, taverns and other buildings with hundreds of different services shooting up all over the town.Getting the latest Paris fashions and many many travellers comming to the town to try and get rich quick, trying to strike silver out in the mines or to offer the many people in the town with services. There are many oreintal people comming from Sacramento and many white foreigners as well as many cowboys and criminals from all over the west: Tombstone was a hub of all sorts of different characters.

What your not supposed to know is that there is constant murders and many barfights and many other urban troubles yet there are skilled gunslingers and sheriffs, there to counter the criminals and theives. There are many indian raids on the town as well, since a tribe of vicious indians live not far off.In an era of good vs evil, gunslinger vs gunslinger, white man vs indian...in the cosmopolitian city of tombstone, somewhere in Arizonia. How will you forge your destiny?

Alright,so this is my latest attempt at a thread and I am looking for an even balance between males and females(hopefully, everyone can wish right).I am looking to have a true western style roleplay, with dedicated and talented writers.I am hoping to get a good strong erotic story about the wild west going on.All people are welcome, when I get some people,I will make the accutal role playing thread.Everyone is welcome,if you want to join Post a bio or PM me.

sounds kind of fun. I'm in.

name: Namid
ethnic: native american
age: 18 yrs old
descript: long black hair, physically fit, ample chest

bio:

Namid is the daughter of the chief, and the bravest warrior of the tribe. She is everything a father could want; smart, beautiful, and fearless. However she is also headstrong, and has a high desire to follow the braves into battle, especially with the raids on the encroaching town. She has already jioned horse raiding parties, and have brought back many fine horses from the white settlers.

Looks like the type of thread that I would like:

Name: Allen Eldred
Age: 28
Occupation: Gun for hire
Ethnicity: 1/4 Native American, 3/4 Caucasian

Description:
Has dark blond, almost brown hair that is long enough to reach his shoulders. When not wearing a hat, or when trying to look nice (which is a rarity) he ties it back in a ponytail. Most of the time, however, he lets it hang down and into his face. Often times, he wears a dark black hat, which has been well-worn. This hat almost always accompanies him wherever he goes. Generally, he wears standard "cowboy" clothes - black coat, worn in shirt, boots, and black trousers. Always at his side are two revolvers in gunbelts, ammo along the belts. For a man who spends as much time out and about as he does, and who sees as many fights as he does, he still is fairly attractive. His build has become muscular from years of training himself to fight.

Bio:
Allen is the son of a man who was once the sherriff of a small town. At a young age, his father was killed, leaving Allen, as the only child, to take care of his mother. When he was 14, his mother caught ill and passed away. Allen set out on his own, training himself how to shoot properly and selling his services to the highest bidder. While he was a mercenary, he still held a code of morals, not allowing himself to be used by anyone he considered to be immoral. When he doesn't have a job, he spends a lot of his time at whatever salloon he can find.

Juan De La Cruz

This sounds interesting, kinda like the setting on my roleplaying board (but we have vampires, lycans, ghosts... oh my...).

Name: Juan De La Cruz

Ethnic Origin: Originally from a very wealthy family, he travelled to the West from his native Philippines in search of a Western education, mostly in anticipation of an increase in business with the United States.

Appearance: 5'9" tall, 169 lbs. Long, jet black hair that hangs down to below his shoulder blades, usually tied into a ronin-style pony-tail. Wears prescription spectacles; is very near-sighted otherwise. Wears the typical attire of a Chinese railroad worker. Build and complexion runs consistent with that of a man who worked on the railroad for well over a decade.

Brief History: When he reached the US, he was instead stereotyped by his appearance as a "Chinese coolie," and "recruited" into helping build the railroad that runs from California through Arizona. He made friends with an elderly Japanese man who also suffered the same fate. Over the course of many years, the Japanese man taught Juan the arts of yadomejutsu, iai and kenjutsu using a bokken that the old man carved from white oak. Juan combines his previous training in Filipino stick-fighting (arnis de mano) with the Japanese arts to form a hybrid style using the Japanese wooden sword (bokken). One day, one of the European "supervisors" killed the elderly Japanese man "because he was too old to earn his keep." In outrage, Juan severely beat the murderer and then escaped into the Arizona desert before the other Europeans lynched him for the capital crime of assaulting a white man.

Juan De La Cruz stumbles into Tombstone a parched, dusty, starving, exhausted fugitive, with only his clothes and his wooden Japanese sword to his name. Fortunately, Juan speaks very fluent American English.

He intends to offer his services to a local Saloon as a cook or other manservant in exchange for food and shelter. He expects to figure everything else out afterwards.

Sadie Adler

Name: Sadie Adler
Age: 24
Occupation: Tends the bar at the local saloon
Ethnicity: Caucasian

Description:
Physical: Dark brown hair that falls in loose ringlets, usually worn pinned up off her neck. Though she is twenty-four years old, she has a sort of baby face, with hazel eyes and a bit of light freckles across her cheeks and nose. Her clothing usually consists of a layered skirt and a pale blouse, pulled together by a dark corset-type bodice. Kind of difficult to describe, but pretty much your standard saloon-wear...though none of that fancy commercialized crap you see in stores today for Halloween and such. Her mother's old cowboy boots usually grace her feet, worn in by years of wear and pretty much always dusted with a glaze of dirt from the town's streets.

Bio:
Sadie has lived in the same town, in the same house, and with the same people her entire life...and doesn't mind it so much as some would think. She is well-known as a fun-loving girl, complete with street smarts and skills, and is always good at keeping the men at the saloons occupied with funny stories and such. Raised by her father, Casey Adler, a fairly good Cowboy in his day, Sadie is very observant and curious...and has come to be a good source of information to those who seek it; you never know what people may spit out once they've got a bit of alcohol in them. Her father taught her at a young age to shoot a gun...not only for protection, but just in case a situation arose.

[Yea, I'm terrible at these bio things, but I promise I'm a decent RPer. Don't judge on this. =) ]

Nathan Crowe

Name: Nathan Crowe
Age: 24
Occupation: Former outlaw, now looking to be a rancher
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Description: A tall and slender young man. Usually wears cowboy clothes with a black stetson hat. Bluegrey eyes and black short hair.
Bio: Killed his first man when he was 12 years old. It was in self defence but he ran away. He lived on the street until he reached the age of 18 when he was picked up by a gang of outlaws. They where impressed by his skill with a six shooter so he stayed with them for a couple of years. Now when Nathan are 24 years old they try to convince him to leave the outlaw way behind.

Daniell La Rue

I am a sucker for Westerns. I hope this character is okey! Just let me know when to start posting relpies!!

Name: Daniell La Rue
Age: 19
Occupation: Gambler and House Entertainment

Description: Irish and Cajun descent. 5'9 with flowing red hair and green eyes. Sharp witted, sharper tongued. Fast on the draw with her six shooters she stole from her father when she ran away. Has a history of gambling and drinking. Loves a good bar fight.

Brief History: Daniell was the only daughter of an Irish farmer that was sold into prostitution when she was 12 for payment of debts. She has lived in saloons and brothels and is age hardened by time on the trail. She is sharp witted and carries a scar on her left cheeck for that sassiness. She is pretty and careless. She loves to gamble and will gambler her own life away if she could. She longs for peace of her inner demons. The unstability of Tombstone keeps her there. As well as the contract with the owner of the Saloon. At least until she can no longer perform for the men.

Sounds like great fun

It looks like you might be needing a few more characters to round out this here thread. I'd be mighty obliged to you all if you let me join. I'll be the town doctor, undertaker, and justice of the peace.

will give my bio later. c'mon folks, aint nothing more fun than a good old fashioned shootemup western.

Ok, I've never played a western before, but I'm willing to give it a go!

Name: James Sherman
Age: 28
Occupation: bounty hunter
Gear: Spencer repeating rifle (holds 7 cartridges), 100 rounds on two ammo belts. 2 Harrington and Richardson Defenders

Description: A tall, weather-beatan man from the deep south, James has shoulder-length unkept dark brown hair and a short, roughly cropped beard. His eyes are very dull blue, verging on grey. He often wears a crisp white waistcoat and long slacks. He has a pair of snakeskin boots without spurrs. He is often seen wearing a black longcoat (dusty), and a wide-brimmed hat

Breif Bio: James started out as a deputy of a queit shanty-town. He had a good job, a wife, and a young daughter. Unfortunatly, an outlaw gang came to his town and shot it up bad. James was wounded, his wife killed, and the outlaws made off with his 5 year old daughter. His greif became anger, and he was since turned to the life of a hunter, trying to find the gang, and take back his daughter

I've never RPed something like this either, but I adore the time period and am a fan of westerns. I'm excited to jump into Sadie's character. Wahoo!

Indeed! Often when i'm at home during the day, and there's a western on, i'll sit back and watch it. Personally, I prefer the aincient world, but the West has an appealing rough 'n tumble feel about it

Name: Sir.Edward Soloman
Race: British
Hair: Dark black
Eyes: Shappire
Weapons: 2 colt single action armies(six shots, .45 caliber)
Occupation:Gambler and Duelist

Discription: Sir.Edward is a prestine english noble man.Being of the average height of 6'1,he is a handsome yet clean gentlemanly like man.Being a thin yet fit man,he was very unlike the muscle strapping American cowboys. He wears a fine silk shirt with a dark blue vest that fits comfortably and is very sporting. He wears dark black pants and a fine leather belt, complete with two black, finely made leather holsters, engraved with the British flag on the holsters. He has short dark black hair that is covered by his hat and has a well kept and thin Mustache but aside from that he is well kept and prestine. He wears a rugged and worn out cowboy style hat, with a strip that carries bullets and that holds a dark blue feather in it,the stripe of clothe made out of lions skin, crafted for him on the plains of Africa when he visited there. He wears a golden chain and a pocket watch that looks old yet is finely polished and has a picture of family in it,standing under the Buckingham palace, the British flag flying high in the sky, where it should be.

Personality: Sir.Edward is a gambler and a refined gentleman,he believes in honor and believes in chivalry, hating the ruggedness of the west, making one of his main goals to make the west civilized like Britian.Despite his witty and foreign ways,Edward loves the west because it gives him the chance to show off/Hone his pistol skills and gamble without getting in trouble with Scotland Yard.Always clean and prestine,he speaks with a distinct British accent and is constantly in fights because he refuses to allow honorless Americans treat women bad or cheat at cards. When a fight comes around, hes more feracious than most men though Edward prefers to solve things in a civilized way, rarely relying on his guns, unless he has to.

Sounds cool. It's also ironic because I'm listening to Ghoultown right now (gothabilly band that sings about zombie cowboys basically). I think I'll try out an alternate universe version of one of my usual characters.

Name: Logan "Howling Coyote" Masters
Age: 26
Race: Caucasian
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 200

Description: Logan is tall for men of the era, standing a solid, imposing 6'3" tall with a lean, sinewy build. His skin has a deep tan from years spent playing in the desert in California when he was a boy. He is never seen without his wide-brimmed hat to shade his rugged face from the sun. His long, curly hair is pulled into a ponytail, and he has decided to grow a beard rather than continue to shave during his travels. His eyes are a russet brown and intense like that of an animal. He wanders the land on a powerful piebald stallion he calls Flint.

History: Logan was an orphan who lost both of his parents to cholera in Sacramento before he was even old enough to remember them. His early childhood was one of confusion and anger, cursing the world for never giving him the chance to know a family. At a young age, he turned to shoplifting as an outlet for his angst, but was eventually caught. He was only 8, so the sherriff couldn't legally arrest the boy. Instead he put him to work around the town under supervision.

At first, Logan resented this treatment, but as he began to work for people, he started to notice the intricacies of their trades and crafts. He started trying to find excuses to do more work around town just so he could see things done more and learn. Within a year, the young thief became a well-known figure in town. He became a veritable jack-of-all-trades. Though in particular he seemed to pick up on music, horse raising, tailoring, and similar trades.

When he was sixteen, Logan used the money he saved up to hitch a ride with a caravan heading East. Along the way, the caravan stopped at a Navajo trading post. Logan was immediately taken with the Navajo culture and decided to stay with the tribe and learn from them. He learned to speak their language, honed his skills by learning the techniques they had used, and even went on a vision quest to discover his totem spirit.

It was at this time that he acquired the moniker of Howling Coyote for his singing voice and how it related to his totem. He spent a total of six years with the Navajos before once more setting off, this time with a horse of his own.

Logan has been wandering from town to town picking up skills and stories along the way for the last four years and has only just made his way to Tombstone.

I'm really looking forward to this, it looks like it's really going to be a fun roleplay.

I'll be making the IC thread tomorrow morning,I would like to welcome everyone to the thread and say thanks for joining!

Scarlet I hope you are feeling better. Thanks for starting up a new western. :)

Kathleen O'Shea is her father's daughter:a pretty red head with green eyes, she is intelligent, curious, outspoken and stubborn. Kathleen and her father Patrick had been alone for the past 15 years, since her mother died when she was fifteen. Brought up in Paddy's world of men and ink, Kate generally liked men but was slow to trust them. When he died three years ago from an infected liver, he left all his belongings to his only child.

Kate's worldly possessions included a building sandwiched between the sheriff's office (frequently empty due to the number of sheriffs that have been killed over the years) and the Doctor/undertakers (frequently busy due to the number of people that get shot or killed here in Tombstone); a few personal items handed down from her parents like the family bible and a few pieces of furniture, her clothing, a small amount of money which she kept in the bank at Tucson (the local bank got robbed to frequently for her taste), and the Columbia Eagle printing press that her father had brought brand new in 1860, had shipped from England, then after the death of his wife had dragged out to the west on a conestoga wagon setting up the only printer shop between Tucson and El Paso.
