OOC threads-what are they for?

OOC threads, if you're talking about the RP forums, are for Out Of Character discussions. Some people in the RP world don't like the little notes cluttering up the play threads, so they have OOC discussions in other threads.

in a play by post role playing community, OOC threads, or Out of Character threads are created as a platform to discuss things or ask questions that you can't do when role playing with a co-writer. the thread can be used to discuss how the game is progressing, a means to introduce yourself to the community, chitchat in general, or announce your absence.
