Greetings once again. This is the OOC Thread for the *NEWEST* Vampyre role play on Lit. I will post my character sketch for Casandra, Queen of the Vampyres, soon. Again, this role play is open to all and both mortals and Vamps are welcome.

Hey, I'd like to jump in if you have room. I'm not very good at vampire roles so I'll play a male mortal. Probably unwilling at first. Let me know if this is ok. Thanks.

Night, Angel, welcome...! Both of your role "ideas" sound good. I'll work out more details soon enough, and will post the "first real" post to my role play within a couple of days, tops.

Night, for the Vamps, pretty much anything goes. If you feel like doing a search, dig for Poohlive's A Vampire's Kiss or my old A Vampyre's Lust. I think Pooh set up some very good guidelines in his role play.

As for rules... No Vamp can turn a mortal without the role player's consent. They can be bitten, but if the role player does not want his/her character to become a Vamp, it has to be written that they do not turn...somehow. Likewise, no hunter can kill a Vampyer without the role player's consent. They can get hurt in a battle, but if the role player does not want his/her character killed off, it must be written that they do survive. If you want to add "extra" characters as you write to keep your posts interesting, so be it. (Ie: If you want "extra" mortals or Vampyres to chase and "play with", write them in and play!) This is why I encourage open communication between role players!! I sometimes wonder if Laurel added the PM feature to Lit *because* of me. Before Lit's PMs, I ran ICQ and allowed users to contact me via AIM for this simple reason.

Ok how is this tell me if it to much or too little

Age; 2500
Looks; 6’6 200 pound slender pall skill glossy black hair dark eyes
Personality; loner for the most part tends slow to anger but once the anger is going don’t get in his way. He’s loyal to the few friends he’s got and will do almost any thing for them if they ask.
Clothes; black leather most of the time very rare to fined him in some thing other then black.
Weapons; He prefers the old weapons swords knives and cross bows but he do’s know how to use the modern weapons to he favors the sniping rifles and a modified 9mm with lazar site.
Powers; the normal vampire strength speed and agility can see in pitch darkness can read mortal minds and talk to other vamps threw the mind. “Let me know if we can shape shift and whether we are restarted to the night if shape shifting is allowed I’ll take the forms of Black Panther and raven.”

Ok let me know if that is ok and if theirs any other powers that I should know of. I can change any thing the needs it I’m very fixable.

Shape shifting sounds cool. But, I would prefer that each Vamp only have one animal attribute until we know how many characters (especially Vamps) we will have. We don't want one or two people hogging all the "cool" animals.

Also, if someone feels the have the time and energy to take on two active characters, feel free!

Mya Kiaru - mortal (With a twist)
Long jet black hair to the waist -due to her asian desent

Background: Mya is no ordinary mortal but a daywalker/feeder for a vampire. Recently her master was slain by a hunter and she walks alone wanting to be owned again to feel the connection that was lost.

Gennerally is found wearing tight fitted clothing dark in color and always a black leather choker to hide the bite marks on her neck from being a feeder

About 5'10 and 140lbs. Slim and well-built. Chase is very shy and quiet, he always keeps to himself. But he's always smiling and has a very positive out-look on life. He rarely, if ever thinks about vampires and other unhappy, disturbing things. He's had girlfriends before but only a few and each relationship he had was long and loving.
