As this role play evolves, we have added characters and will continue to do so. This thread is intended as a reference in regard to those characters. This thread is also to encourage any readers to offer comments or thoughts on the roleplay as well as any suggestions for the authors.

Born and raised in Tennessee, she met Colonel Calhoun while working as a volunteer nurse at the Confederate Army Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
She was a key caregiver to the Colonel and as such was tasked with taking him back to her home to complete his recovery. She grows closer to Rusty during their three day trip to her plantation home in Tennessee. The trip was necessary to escape the Union assault in Mississippi.

A free slave having escaped along with another small group of slaves. Rusty and Elizabeth find her at the end of their second day of travels. She agrees to join them to escape being found by either Confederate or Union soldiers. When arriving at Elizabeth's home, she is introduced as Rusty's personal servant and put in quarters adjacent to his room.
This is done to avoid her being put in the general salve population and being accessible to unwanted advances of the evil overseer Mr. Williams, amongst others. She is young and beautiful with clear evidence of Caucasian genes in her DNA, the intend is after the war, she can be taken North and have options as to how she enters free society.

Elizabeth's mother, her husband is supposedly fighting for the Confederacy in the war, She was not supportive of Elizabeth becoming a volunteer nurse. She has run the plantation in her husband's absence. She is a beautiful woman who is a flirt and has a strong sexual appetite and does not feel at all encumbered by the obligations of marriage.
