Owner (solioquy pick a name) thought that the nba was sexist and decided to try and form a team of young and middle aged men and women to play for her team. She hired head coach Tom Williams, a 25 year old rookie coach, who was an ex basketball superstar who belw out his knee and lost his career.

The Coach and trainer-we will need at least one more coach and possibly a trainer

The Team:

4 Women-(any names may be changed if you dont want to be a real person)

Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi- led UCONN huskies to national title, supposedly one of the best backcourts ever, men and female

Jackie Stiles- Small forward, from SMU, fourth pick in wnba in 2000

4 men-

Mike Dunleavy- Power forward from Duke
Jason Williams- (white) point guard
Jason(Jay) Williams- shotting guard, duke grad

J.C. Pagniacci

Jocasta Carmelina Pagniacci stood in front of her massive ebony desk. She smiled at her success. Finally, at the young age of 29, she owned her own sports team. A basketball team. A co-ed basketball team. Her father would hate it.

J.C. always enjoyed doing that which her father most hated. Shortening her name, going into business, not accepting family money, and now--owning a basketball team. Franco Pagniacci was a true Italian man. His beliefs were deep-rooted in his heritage and religious beliefs. His stronghold over his family was almost impenetrable, but J.C. was the one who made it out. All she had to do was make him hate her enough to all but disown her.

At sixteen, she realized that she had to get out from under his control. She found a boy she found useful and attractive, and arranged so that her father could discover her sucking the poor boy's cock. At eighteen, she applied to Yale instead of Harvard. At nineteen, she came home with a female lover and told him she was J.C., rather than Jocasta. At twenty-two, she became a successful business woman, which her father hated. He loved the arts. Study the greats, he said. She would reply, I did...Rockwell, Iacoca, Gates. He would fume. And now, the daughter of the self-proclaimed bard had bought a basketball team.

J.C. shuffled through the papers on her desk. She couldn't make sense of the basketball terminology, but she was a quick learner, and she wasn't about to lose money on this one. Watch out, Papa, she though, HERE I COME.

A soft knock was heard at her door.

Come in, she yelled

A young man, about 25 walked in with a slight limp. He went up to the desk and reached out to shake JC's hand. He said "Hi, Im Tom Williams, Im here to apply for the coaching postition."

J.C.

It surprised her, the man coming in and not treating her like a joke right off hand. Most men despised her ambitions and her success. She was sure this would come in time.

"Of course, Mr. Williams. I have been hearing good things about you. I see you have coached both women's and men's basketball?"

His handshake had been strong and cool. J.C. knew you could tell a lot about a man's handshake. This one would not be easily manipulated, she could tell, but he was hungry...she just needed to see how hungry.

She unbuttoned the button of her suit jacket and sat in a large leather office chair, she motioned for him to sit. "So, Tom, let's not do the usual bullshit. Let's get right down to brass tacks. Why should I choose you ?

You should choose me, because i am experianced in both coaching and playing, I am young, and I agree that both men and women should have equal rights in sports.

J.C.

"OK, fair enough," she smiled at him graciously. "But the question begs to be asked, Tom, How are you going to feel about working for a woman?" She reached for a bottle of water on the table and continued her question as she unscrewed the top. "A very, ambitious, successful woman at that."

What he didn't know was that she had already singled him out as "The One". All the others were too old fashioned to be under her, or were too inexperienced. Tom was the one they needed. But, savvy and on top of HER game, J.C. wasn't letting on.

She waited for his reply.

I wnt mind working for a women at all, i think both men and women should have the same opurtunities, especially in pro sports.

J.C.

J.C. thought about this a bit. Was he truly being sincere? Most men laughed at the idea of women playing with men. She truly thought he meant it. Something about that let her shed her hard shell for a minute to find him endearing. She shook her head, and resumed her business-like tone.

"That's very admirable, Tom." She went to the mini bar and began to pour a scotch. "Would you like a drink? I have just about anything you could want."

She glanced at him questioningly, hoping that the sudden change of conversation would make him nervous.

J.C.

J.C. chuckled at his request. She pulled out some diet 7-up. "This do?" she asked.

He nodded. She poured it into a glass she had filled with ice, and handed it to him.

"If we do select you, Tom, you'll be working in the most controversial situation you've been in. And I know your history. You'll be dealing with the big boys, and girls," she laughed. "Think you can handle it?"
