Hey,i hope everyone like this thread!

This rp has no specific time, but is in the medieval stage of development and it is spring. There Is a country(I havent thought up a name yet) that borders a huge forest. The forest is ainceint, having survived almost since life started on the world. As such,it has collected many odd occupants(elves, earth mages, rock elementals,treants,etc.).The Country that borders this forest has always respected its denizens, though its newest King/queen(who i will also not name, seeing as how someone will play him/her),is preparing a huge army to attack and take over many of its neighbors, and it has need of more wood than previous, when they took little from the forest and always asked first, they are now cutting down massive quantites of the forest, and any creature not human being found after a section is cleared,it is killed and buried there. All information from the cities and towns have been cut off,the creatures from the Forest presumed dead or held captive. As the story starts,a meeting is being held and all types of creatures currently living in the Forest are attending to decide what to do.messages sent to the capital city have been ignored and attempts to forcefully stop the woodcutters currently working at the forest's edge have been met with amred soldiers coming in force and guarding them.
Also, there is no restrictions on any character you may choose, becuase all manner of beings could live in the Forest
hope everyoen who joins has fun

Prince Calash

The impetuous younger brother of the reigning monarch, Khalash is a charismatic firebrand. Considered dangerous at court, but too closely attached to the ruler to be discreetly dispatched, the conservative faction at court hit on what seemed the ideal solution; sending him off to govern an obscure province on the edge of the Great Forest.

Unfortunately, the plan turned sour when his royal sibling began plans of invasion, and sent for lumber from Calash's province. Bored and restless in his managerial position, Calash seized on the project with enthusiam and immedietely began immense preparations for lumber harvesting.

Ironically, Calash is a good-natured youth who would not normally slay innocents, however his first encounter with the people of the Great Forest was with the treacherous and mysterious Reine; folk of the mists and the swamps. Prince Calash offered to negotiate, and they led him into a trap which killed most of his personal guard, including his long-time bodyguard and lover Maia. As a result, he is convinced that all the peoples of the Forest are evil and determined to kill them all, his desire for vengeance fuelling his desire to carry out the project.

During a recent expansion, Calash was captured by elves and he is now being transported to the meeting to see if any peaceful solution can be found with a representative of the kingdom. Although his elven captors treat him kindly, Calash is convinced that it is some sort of trick, and fully expects torture soon. He is determined to say nothing lest he unwittingly betray his sibling and his followers.

Calash is slim and dark haired, with electric blue eyes. He is currently wearing his traditional silver armour, hammered with his personal sigil; a swan. It's battered and covered in dry blood; the elves have offered him new clothing but he has refused.

I'm a do do, hehe posted here now sorry

Name: Liviana Tal’Shara
Age: 118
Race: Wood Elf
Features: Lithe, slightly muscular, about 4’9
Hair: Long raven curls to about her waste
Eyes: Violet
Skin: Sun Tanned

Bio: Liviana T’Shara is the daughter of ‘blank for now’. Head of the South Clan of Elves of the Forest, he feels it is not his daughter’s place to live the life she lives as a Ranger/Fighter. She obviously does what she wants and whenever she wants living a chaotic neutral life. She works for whoever pays the most at times and other times work for free…because she’s bored. And she gets bored often, wondering off to do things on her own without the help of others…..

She’s playful, seductive, and at the same time sarcastic, and a lone wolf…..

Ok, I am in. Just have to think of a character. I know it will be a werewolf. Suprised eh? LOL. Let me just figure this out. Just wanted Soul to see that I remembered to post here.

ok here goes

Name : Razorfang
Human Name: Brevin Drazen
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 230 Lbs
Eyes : Dark Blue
Hair: Black with grey streaks
Fur: Silver with black speckles

Background:

Brevin was a hunter that spent quite a bit of his time in the forest. One night when he was hunting, he came across a beautiful woman asleep next to a tree. He went to her to make sure she was alright. She awoke and her sultry smile sent him over the edge. His clothes dissolved in a second as his body reacted to her charms. After the sex was over, she bit his neck hard and he lost consciousness. When he came too, the sun was high in the sky. His arms and legs had gotten noticeably hairier and his senses seemed to be sharper. He counted his blessings since he was now a better hunter. When he ran into a stressful situation in town, his anger got the better of him and he snapped. When next he realized what he had done, he found himself with his mouth on the shopkeepers throat; the sweet taste of blood winding down his throat. He looked in a mirror and saw that he was changed into a werewolf. He immediately left the shop and was never seen in town again.

First thing to do would be to register. That would be a start. Then post a character here, so that Soul Edge can approve it and you can start.

My post seems out of place for the moment too much going on elsewhere..maybe I should wait a bit until an oportunity arrives for my presence?

K'larn

Name: K'larn
Age: 1378
Race: Centaur
Colour: Black
Facial Appearance: Earthly natural good looks, marked with a scar from upper left hairline, running beside left eye to the left edge of upper lip. Hair jet black with one red patch central.
Eyes: Black, no visible signs of iris or pupil.

Background: Known only in stories of legend amongst woodland folk, K'larn has not interacted with anyone in depth for centuries, save Drago, whom he had partnered with mere decades before for an important quest. Though none know much about this watcher of the woods, he knew much about the others.. be they inhabitants of the woods, or foreigners from the open lands.

From the description of your character, it seems like the other creatures may not listen to her, or pay her any heed, even if she speaks in counsel. How about if she talks to the adventurers that are going off to start the war and joins up with them? Sound like a plan?

I was going to post to the thread, but I'm thinking some more response from the other characters is in order first to maintain an even time line. I think this thread has great potential, I hope others see it and join with some new characters soon. :)

Hmm.. I have a problem. Atm, Calash and the boys are one step away from threshing out just what is his problem with the forest people. And if they do this, reparations will be made, Calash will apologize, and some peaceful solution will be found. Which would be great in real life but would turn the whole storyline into a boring 'love one another and get along' thing.

I can see a few alternatives, maybe if you let me know which you think would be best:

1) Calash escapes before the details come out and comes back to the meeting place with a big army.

2) Calash just refuses to believe the forest people (This is a little bit dull, and does raise the question of just how dumb Calash is)

3) The Reine (guys who ambushed Calash) actually want a war for reasons of their own and somehow manipulate events so the truth never comes out

4) Calash finds out the truth and goes back to tell his brother the king, but the king still wants the lumber and ignores what Calash has to say. Disgusted, Calash throws in his lot with the forest people

I like 3 and 4 the best, but I want some other opinions

I like 3 and 4 too Lethe, except 4 would leave us without any enemies(that are being played) for the forest.I like the idea of 3,except you can make it that a group of 2 or 3 types creatures(maybe humans too) want all the land for themselves, and are playing the Forest and Calash's realm to fight each-other,so that they can wipe out whats left?how does that sound to anyone else?
